I would just like to know who came up with the acronym for this latest missile (ATACMS it sounds rather like attack 'ems which is what missiles like this are for
)

Russian society thinks similarly. It's just that we are now in a period of maximum turbulence. The main thing is to survive this period, even despite all the attempts of the British to involve the US and Russia in a nuclear war.

I'm not sure it is the British, what would they have to gain? Not logical to me.

But it sure looks like someone is trying to get Russia and the US in a nuclear war.

I vote for whoever is controlling Biden, because we all know his decisions are not his, he is simply a puppet and has been the puppet of an unelected cabal. Maybe someday who it is will come to light. Probably long after Biden is a footnote in history.

I think that Moscow will respond by bombing the main command and control centers in Kiev with a medium size enriched molybdenum missile on one of their super fast missiles after warning Zelinski that he should probably leave to comply with international laws protecting the heads of countries that actually start wars.

That would be the father of all bombs. It creates a thermobaric bomb which only contains traces of radiation.

If he escalates too much, he risks cornering Trump.

Trump can’t look weak when he enters, even if a lot of his base is all for buttoning this up.

Trump has moved on this issue a few times. A few months after the full invasion of 2022, Trump said Biden’s admin wasn’t doing enough, and said that we should be using our drones on the front lines.

My guess, Putin does nothing out of the ordinary, builds up his posture, and uses that posture for leverage to get this all squared away.

While North Korea and Iran have been supportive of Russia, China has stayed out of the mix for the most part aside from trade. The last thing they want is nuclear war so close to them. If Putin colors too far outside the lines it could put BRICS into jeopardy, and that’s kind of the cornerstone of Russia’s future economic game plan.

Putin and Russia are still largely alone on this, they simply don’t have the power to fully retaliate unless they decide the world can’t exist. Putin’s not that crazy.

"The main thing is to survive this period, even despite all the attempts of the British to involve the US and Russia in a nuclear war."

What "attempts" might those be?

Why might we Brits even want such a thing?

The only State I see threatening others with nukes is, Russia.

Remember, the liberal parties are taking over the UK too, they believe that their capabilities are higher than they are so they are poking the bear. Liberals seem to think that their beliefs are correct, and don't look at history when judging rational behavior they should follow. They believe their beliefs are superior to their ancestors because we are smarter than our ancestors...which is actually dumb thinking. The past predicts the future most times, History is important to consider when dealing with Human nature. I used to be a liberal, and still have some liberal friends and understand their philosophy but have seen it go too far left which is going to cause an overreaction from those negatively effected in the middle. Slow and reasonable progression of society is good, allowing for changes to be corretly implemented into society before floodng change into society. I see a swing coming back to conservativism with lots of good erased that was properly assessed in the past....Like Biden erasing al of Trumps executive orders for days when he came into office, the slim majority of what he erased was good for society. Biden should not have done that, but many of us already knew his judgement was bad before he went into office, but the Democrats and Liberals were brainwashed to believe he was all right.

Damn, got a few sticky key on this computer, press the key and it doesn't add the letter sometimes, gong to have to take this laptop apart again and correct it.....mostly the I and C give me problems. I left some of the misses on here to show what I am talking about.

When have they threatened anyone, or the West, which is what I meant but didn't make clear?

Yeah, but why might us Brits want a nuclear war between Russia and the US, which was the claim?

As a one time MLRS crewman, it's the Army's attempt at an acronym. Army Tactical Missile System.

20th century cutting edge tech.

Edit to add: They would have been better off with the M26 rockets (discontinued in 2007 I believe and all stockpiles worldwide destroyed but there's got to be some somewhere) and the war would end rather quickly. We used them in Iraq1. There was a reason Schwarzkopf was able to roll into Baghdad unopposed, everything was dead before he got there courtesy of MLRS.

STEEL RAIN!

Ha ha ha.....all those Bastard Brits fault again I see.

Only one person threatening the use of first strike nuclear weapons.

And all the usual suspects coming out already with their excuses as to why Trump won't be able to resolve this senseless war in a matter of days.

Yes, but from your link:

"To be clear, just because states invest in nuclear weapons and delivery systems does not mean that a crisis or war is imminent. Leaders in China, India and Pakistan have always viewed their nuclear arsenals primarily as tools of deterrence, less for practical warfighting than to convince adversaries of the extraordinary costs that a war would risk. Nor do any of the region’s leaders take their nuclear programs lightly; all feel tremendous incentives to keep their arsenals safe and secure and to build systems of command, control and communications intended to prevent accidents, unauthorized use or theft."
