I say she hit something in the air. From the shot to the report 9 seconds elapsed. That rocket got at least a mile down range and that would take around 5 seconds after the hit before you would hear the explosion. That would mean the rocket hit a target within 4 seconds of being airborne. I am going to give this lady the benefit of doubt and think physics were on her side.

Could have hit the ground for all we know.

Odd how the camera pulls away from the detonation?

Ummm...nice propaganda piece...which actually doesn't show...why...anything...

Where is the incoming cruise missile vapor trail...?

Where and when does it actually show the manpad...intersecting with and downing...anything...?

Why does the film only show the manpad exhaust trail...and then conveniently the camera focuses on the kindergarten teacher...followed by a detonation sound clip...but no video of any interception...?

You do seem to swallow the official narrative rather succinctly...and easily...

Keep up the good work...

My thoughts exactly. Her reaction is like "Oh crap. I hit one of ours!"

The scary thing is how many launchers and missiles like that are out in the wild. U.S. officials are concerned a terrorist will use one at the end of a US airport runway.

How so?

Seemed delighted.

I think if it hit the ground, the sound delay would be significantly larger and more muffled.
Also, it is recorded off a cell phone from someone putting a key emphasis on her, and documenting what her reaction would be.

Well, it certainly isn't conclusive one way or the other.

Where's the video of any wreckage?

It certainly doesn't warrant the headline:
Watch Dramatic Moment Ukrainian Nursery Teacher Takes Out Russian Missile With Rocket Launcher

There is zero footage of the alleged dramatic moment, but I bet mainstream news followers (and social media) will speak of this as factual reporting now.
Thank # for ATS, with questioning minds sifting out propaganda!

It doesn't show what you described though fella, at all. I saw an individual firing a projectile but no visual evidence of it "destroying the Kh-101 long-range missile" - only a description saying so.

I'm all "Down with Putin" myself, but this story just seems to be tabloid propaganda when it doesn't seem to show what you described.

Waste of data for me watching this, if I'm bluntly honest. Russia is still brutally kicking Ukraine's arse, no matter how many brave nursery teachers become fighters, due to lack of men.

If you wanted to honour/inspire the bravery of regular Ukrainian people, then yes, good video, but the 'nursery woman destroying missile with first shot in active combat' thing, just smells of tabloid journalism watching the vid, compared to the description, sorry.

Exactly.

What type manpad was it , didn't hear lock on , heatseekers do no much at drones that small , looks more like a training session hitting a damaged vehicle?
