Ummm...the strategy was probably agreed to by Trump when he met behind closed doors with Biden...notice you haven't seen any statements about this escalation of Biden's...by Trump...

So...apparently he's party to it...

I have to admit colluding with Biden would be way worse than colluding with Russia.

If Russia was a real superpower. Why didn’t they tell NATO pack sand. Do what the US does. Make the Ukraine a no fly zone. And obliterate any thing arms related coming into the Ukraine.

I get it’s Putin and this is about his ego. But just skip all military strategy to go right to nuclear threats?

It’s like the whole Ukraine thing is nothing but to keep a conflict going to funnel money to the military industry complex on both sides. The whole thing is obscene at this point.

Germany and Finland say they are "deeply concerned" after an undersea cable linking the countries was severed.

The rupture of the 1,170km (730-mile) telecommunications cable - which is being investigated - comes at a time of heightened tension with Russia.

The two countries' foreign ministers said in a joint statement: "Our European security is not only under threat from Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, but also from hybrid warfare by malicious actors."

Damage to pipelines in the Baltic Sea has raised fears of sabotage in recent years.

Separately, a 218km (135-mile) internet link between Lithuania and Sweden's Gotland Island also lost service on Sunday morning, a Swedish telecommunications company said.

Yes, as well as a couple years ago, they conducted a fleet exercise in same area, directly over the trans Atlantic cables.

This is how they tap communication lines.

I suspect it was either deliberate sabotage to stop coms, but I lean more towards if it was cut, it was cut to prevent interceptions of critical communications.

Or in other words, to end the tap.
This is not the first time, and won't be the last. As you all can see, a simple search will show it was reported in 1980.

Russian officials say Biden decision to let Ukraine fire missiles deep into Russia could lead to world war

By Imtiaz Tyab, Tucker Reals

Updated on: November 19, 2024 / 4:21 AM EST / CBS News

President Biden's decision to allow Ukraine to fire U.S.-made and supplied missiles deeper into Russia — a major policy shift announced over the weekend after months of intense lobbying by Kyiv — has drawn a furious response from Moscow. While there was no immediate reaction directly from the man who launched the nearly three-year war on his neighboring nation, lawmakers aligned with President Vladimir Putin in Russia said Monday that the move was unacceptable and warned it could lead to a third world war.

Mr. Biden authorized Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to use American-made missiles with a range of about 190 miles, known as ATACMS, to strike deeper inside Russian territory than the Ukrainians have to date.

Yeah well that did not happen. Want to know why?
Because Chernobyl is in Ukraine, and Ukraine was the nuclear weapons manufacturer. Why would Putin destroy what he's trying to capture?

Do you not know the history or strategic value of Ukraine, obviously not based on your presumptuous disposition.

In addition, here's a history lesson, for those who are unaware;

US missiles strike Russian territory for the first time

The bombed military facility contained Russian aerial guided bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for multiple-launch rocket systems, as well as artillery ammunition, including North Korean shells.

This is the first time that ATACMS have struck Russian territory, following the green light given by the Biden administration, as announced by various US media.

Ukraine does none of the targeting, that is all done by the US and our satellite data. Ukraine doesn't have the infrastructure require to utilize our missiles properly nor do we train them on all the classified systems we use to do said targeting. Any missiles lobbed into Russia will have been done by a sponsor nation.

Trump is not the sitting president yet. He cannot do anything except make phone calls. Remember, In 2021, President Biden withdrew Trump's access to classified briefings, which former presidents are typically entitled to, citing his predecessor's "erratic behavior."

This is the current war hawks trying to create an issue that they think Trump will not be able to handle. This is so before Trump is back in office there is ONE MORE Aid package. Nothing more and nothing less.

Which is why Russia is getting louder with its threats...I doubt they want a war which will only end in everyones destruction. I also believe its why we are seeing the massive missile attacks lately targeting infrastructure. I don't think they wanted to reduce the infrastructure to ruble originally, but if they want to head off major escalation between nuclear powers they need to complete their war faster.

Judge Andrew Napolitano has an excellent podcast, interviewing many (non-mainstream media) geopolitical specialists who have various knowledgeable analytic sources outside of the Western government propaganda narrative pushers.

In the following excellent video Judge Napolitano interviews British expat Gilbert Doctorow, a retired corporate executive and consultant to multinational corporations with expertise in Russian and Eastern European countries. He is also an independent political analyst and author of commentaries on international events.

At about the 9:12 mark he plays a clip of President Trump's short (about 2mins.) speech commenting on the Biden admin's "permission" for Ukraine to send missiles into Russian territory.

This is may be the best speech Trump has ever done - well worth watching.
