Fighting a nuclear war is bad advice period.

I'm not particularly fond of the idea of my sons or daughters being conscripted Tolkiennether.

But it could be worse, you could be Russian, where that is actually happening.

Let's face it Tolkien, unless its to fight and defend our own shores.

Nobody is apt to turn up, so conscription, bar invasion, probably would not make much sense, in this day of age in most Western nations.
