Four months ago, Former President Barack Obama, Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and current Vice President Kamala Harris, forced President Joe Biden to not run for re-election this year, because they felt he was too old and senile.

Here we are, four months later and (forced lame duck) U.S. President Joe Biden is in the country of PERU, meeting with China's President Xi, negotiating good, common-sense nuclear weapon agreements...

LIMA, Nov 16 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed on Saturday that human beings and not artificial intelligence should make decisions over the use of nuclear weapons.

"The two leaders affirmed the need to maintain human control over the decision to use nuclear weapons," the White House said in a statement.

"The two leaders also stressed the need to consider carefully the potential risks and develop AI technology in the military field in a prudent and responsible manner."

It was not clear whether the statement would lead to further talks or action on the issue. But it nonetheless marks a first-of-its-kind step between the two countries in the discussion of two issues on which progress has been elusive: nuclear arms and artificial intelligence.

Why would a country with Nuclear Weapons allow Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to decide if those weapons should be launched, or even staged for launch? We've seen many examples in TV shows & movies of A.I. creating small and large catastrophes.

It's just for show; why would ether country want to give control of Nuclear weapons to AI? What tactical advantage would it provide for any amount of increase danger of accidentally launch. None, there is no tactical advantage; no country would ever even attemp it.

So why the show? Probably because both countries want to start integrating AI into other military applications and they want to avoid the protests from people who will claim AI will be used for nuclear weapons.

Good. We won't have to worry about nations going to the U.N. demanding PUTIN-RUSSIA agrees to not give Nuke authority to A.I..

Well gee. That's mighty Nobel of them isn't it. 😊 Glad The White House agrees!

Still, I hope President Biden is sharing his war-making authority with someone else (but not Kamala).

When one of those 'human's' is Joe Biden, what's to fear?
