Sometimes I just bloody despair at the sort of people we have to share a world with.

2 sickos from Worcester were gaoled for their part in a monkey torture network (How is that even a thing)?


Now, reading the whole article shows you that there was a sophisticated network based on the web, running out of Indonesia and previously run by an American who got sent down for 3 years odd.

These people are obviously psycopaths who need locking away from normal folks for their whole lives not 2 or 3 years.

SMH we really are a disgusting species at times.

I read about the case a while ago, proper freaks and weirdo's.
There was a similar case not so long ago if I remember correctly where there was a group of people doing similar things to puppies.

They should be lifed off with all the nonces and sex offenders.

Same - there's meant to be a big international ring doing it and posting the videos of various animal torture/abuse on Youtube, really sick stuff and IIRC they were the top results on Youtube if you typed in symbols like *, !, < and similar in the search bar.

There's a good BBC doc about the abusers and people who tracked them down and exposed their sick hobby.

These incidents in Hampshire earlier in the year, have similarly been linked to gangs providing on-line entertainment.

One local farmer, whose land has been targeted repeatedly, told the paper: “They are basically laughing in our faces. The horrific display they left outside our community shop is obviously meant to let us know they’re invincible.”

Describing the disturbing scene in the village of Broughton on Friday, Mike Hensman, treasurer of the village shop, said on Saturday: “There were hares on the patio outside the shop, blood on the doors. [There was] a raptor and an owl stuffed on to the handles of the shop.”

“The guy that opened the shop – he shoots so he’s used to this. And he’s still distraught. He’s struggling to cope with it because it was pretty horrific,” Mr Hensman added.

I have tons of empathy for animals but little for people in general specifically these who harm animals with malicious intent or through sheer neglect or even those who harm people. I'll set up a prison cell in my root cellar and the UK could pay me to house the #ers.

Can't read the link, for my own sanity. But anyone that can torture and kill animals for pleasure, will do it to humans and has no empathy or moral compas. They do not deserve to live.

I have prosecuted Animal Welfare cases and thought I'd seen it all, but this.... I have no words.

I didn't click it either, I'd heard someone 'reporting' it on radio news, got the impression it was people who actually get some thrill or pleasure from torture...proper evil psycho types.

The British justice system doesn't encourage me to share my instinctive thoughts online...but I will assert, that all currently available maximum punishments, by UK judges, are wholly insufficient for scum who enjoy this evil stuff👎

Fair play to you fella, bet you've seen some graphic horror, only ending with punishments that didn't fit the crime...must've been challenging.

never understood why people enjoy that sh@@. now i could understand maybe losing it if a animal hurt you, loved one or somebody else your trying help, beating it to a pulp before regaining your composure.

but treating animals which no matter what the so called experts ( has been drips) say have self awareness to the point their able is beyond me.

ETA: the one seems to be a serial animal hater, those kinds need to be put down before their progress to humans.
