To all the Veterans here on ATS….Thank you all for your service and sacrifices you have made so that we may have a better place to live. Your service will never go unnoticed or unappreciated. 🍻

One day has never been enough to show our love, respect, appreciation, etc to those that have, and are serving.

Especially when we have entire months dedicated to groups that, without those that fought to defend our freedoms, would not have that freedom to celebrate that month.

We owe all to those that fought and gave their lives, whether physically or mentally, and those that fight that fight in their head every day. We, as a nation, will never be able to show enough gratitude for those that make that sacrifice.

Thank you to all serving, and who all have served whether I know you or not, you will forever hold a special place in my heart. You gave up a portion, or all of your life, so that I may live mine as I please.

Thank you to all those I know, and those I've never met.

We would not be the USA without you.

Aim High for all my chair force brothers and sisters.
Happy Birthday USMC, and thank you for all who served, and especially, all spouses and family who supported those who deployed. Most will never know the comfort of hearing a friendly voice from a loved one while in land full of dirt and rocks.
edit on 11-11-2024 by network dude because: Beto, what a stupid name.

I, too, served and I would like to thank all my fellow brothers and sisters who served as well. These are some photographs I took to show how important our veterans are:

And lastly, Arlington National Cemetery, from 1979:

this was quite a special Veterans day for me. My son, who just finished his service with the USAF, shot his first deer tonight. He got the big 8 pointer I have been seeing on camera. (turns our, he's a 9 pointer) Really proud right now. It's a good feeling.
