President Joe Biden will host President-elect Donald Trump for a traditional postelection meeting in the Oval Office on Wednesday, the White House said Saturday.

Such a meeting is customary between the outgoing president and the incoming president, and is meant partly to mark the start of a peaceful transfer of power under America’s democracy.

But Trump, a Republican, did not host Biden, a Democrat, for a sit-down after the 2020 election, when Trump lost his reelection bid.

Trump sought the presidency four years later, and this week he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democrat.

President-elect Trump is the first former president to return to power since Grover Cleveland regained the White House in the 1892 election.

Their upcoming meeting is set for 11 a.m..

IMO - The most important news and developments surrounding this meeting will occur off-camera, and between Biden & Trump attorneys, leading up to 1/20/2025.

A "deal" could be in the works to grant blanket amnesty to the entire Biden family, in return for evidence against high-level people Joe Biden has interacted with at the top of government, and business, and media, over the past 45 years.

Honestly, the US has elections periodically. That is how things are supposed to be done. It's not like this was a surprise.

I can not wait to see what biden has accumulated to got after the swamp queen pelosi and the swamp queen obama.

i hope Trump and co. keep investigating the coup. JD Vance wants to bring Biden's doctors before congress and grill them. You know...the doctors who kept saying what great shape he was in.

Vance insists that it was unlawful to just tell a sitting president to step aside while 'someone else" takes over. Who's making these decisions? Obama and Pelosi? George Clooney? Seriously, WTF?

Whether it was "a coup" or not, it wasn't legal.

If Biden's doctors maintained he was in such great shape, then why did the dems oust him?

Most importantly, to get the ball rolling, incoming President Trump needs to show Joe Biden a summary of the worst alleged crimes he (Joe) and Hunter and James can be charged with.

Keep in mind, Biden is under extreme pressure because of his illegally obtaining and illegally storing all those classified documents in so many places. He's going to have to follow strict instructions from his side and Trump's side. Be very aware of how Biden talks. Also, there has been so much "get Trump!" turmoil over the past 8 years, people have forgotten how Biden-Obama-Hilary set up a COUP against the incoming Trump administration in 2016/2017.

One aspect of the Coup was JOE BIDEN helping to get incoming National Security Advisor General Flynn indicted on phony charges.

Biden swore, in public, that he ‘never talked business" with Hunter’s business partners. When it was discovered that he really DID talk to them, it was about the weather.

No Biden will ever spend a day in jail though. The U.S. has a two-tiered justice system, and laws are for the peasants.

That would be a grave injustice for the American citizens and I seriously doubt Biden will be left 'unattended' to speak freely of that Trump is too stupid to drop the issue after the fallout from his falure to hold Hillary accountable for all of the damage she's done to this country.

Trump's base would desert him if he even hinted at a Biden family blanket pardon.

The Biden Administration ordered a raid of former President Donald Trump's home in 2022. FBI Agents spent time in Melania Trump's closet with her clothing that day.

As a result of that personal violation, Melania will NOT be coming to the White House (with her President-elect husband) to visit with Joe/Jill Biden tomorrow.
