So what is the consensus thus far?

Who's leading, who's trailing?

538, a slightly left leaning poll aggregate has Harris up 1%~.

Realcleadpolling, a slightly right leaning poll aggregate has Trump up 1%~.

After the last few elections, and poor predictions from polling, it looks like they’re herding so they can all save face.

Betting outlets, and futures contracts have Trump up 4-12%, 12% coming from polymarket, which seems to have the most trading volume at over $3b.

It’s a close race, but I would say Trump has a small lead.

If we averaged out everything and said 5%, that sounds like a lot when many elections are decided on much less. But I suppose it’s contextual.

If our surgeon told us we had a 55% chance of making it through surgery, the odds are in our favor, but that doesn’t mean you’re confident.

It was close… but polls are really tricky in America since we have an electoral college system that decides the winner.

All it takes is one state wrong in polling to shift the election. Pennsylvania very well could decide this one, and allegedly is one of the most contested.

Keep in mind the state of our country and who has been in control for 12 of the last 16 years. The Left has gone off the rails and I will never vote Democrat again no matter what they promise.

I don't trust either party and that was and remains the appeal of Trump, and for me watching him navigate and get where he is as the candidate was against all odds.

I'll be voting this evening and taking 3 of my sons. This will be their first election they get to vote in which just so happens to be the most important of our lives. We'll be voting for Trump and America.

No one knows the count today in terms of who is up - the counting will not start until after the polls close.
Any discussion on early voting is just which party the voter was registered with.
All other discussions are about polling.

From a poling perspective :

In 2016 Clinton was +3.2 vs Trump nationally
In 2020 Biden was +7.2 vs Trump nationally
In 2024 Harris is +0.1 vs Trump nationally

This is why I always say Democrats and democracy should never be used in the same sentence. It’s unbelievable (not) that the democrats are this slimy now. I don’t get how anyone can vote for a party that constantly lies, manipulates, deceives , divides and manufactures hate the way the democrats do and we all know their level of hypocrisy.

It is and for the record, I'd be just as pissed if a Republican or any other party's congressperson had such aspirations and voiced them on the night before an election... on plenty of levels it's election interference if nothing else. A certain percentage of voters just don't want the chaos.
