HA HA! The guy on MSNBC who points to the graphics and is really animated, just took a Kleenex out the box as the camera cut away to a commercial. He was in panic mode over Pennsylvania. The Dems really have put all their marbles on winning Pennsylvania.

With 95% of the vote in in Lackawanna County in PA (that's the county where Scranton is, Biden's hometown), Harris is underperforming Biden by about 3,000 votes and Trump has already surpassed his 2020 total by 3,000 votes. This is where I live, in a suburb of Scranton.

Not a huge county population-wise compared to Philly but if she's short in Philly she'd need to make that up elsewhere, and it doesn't look like she's gonna do it here.

An outlet can look at the counties and call it early, but they ultimately have no authority. Some are going to play hot and loose to try and get views.

Brit Hume was pretty prescient yesterday when he said if she didn't need to do 4 events in PA yesterday, she wouldn't. Obviously you'd rather go to multiple states on the last day, but she must have known she was in trouble here.

Doesn't mean she's gonna lose it, but she obviously wasn't comfortable. That's the only reason to stay here all day yesterday and go to all 4 big cities.

Too many votes still to come in for Harris from Richmond and some of the border districts

Strange voters there. Even though Kamala didn't do what she's promising to do, when she had the chance, the people there believe her.

This has happened before, no battleground states are called yet.

They have to be sure, but when it's almost certain as it was over 2hrs ago in VA it's fine for other outlets to call it

Fox reported Milwaukee, WI is now using untrained county workers like firefighters and EMTs to help count ballots.

It looks like trump is exceeding expectations from the polls thus far.

But we all know bureaucracy slows things down. I imagine the smaller a county, the easier it is to report. Cities probably take longer with more polls and more workers.

Once NC and more importantly PA gets called, I think it will be safe to say his odds are really good.
