On topic, unlike quite a few other posts in this thread...

Do they have an ETA on when they'll be done reviewing all 2500? Are there measures in place to detect any additional instances of this type of thing happening? I fail to believe that it stops at 2500; maybe 25000 or better would be my guess. Couple this with some of the voting machine videos I've seen lately, the burning of ballot boxes in WA and OR, and the bag of mail-in ballots found in Miami; I think we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Generally, leftists have an inherent inability to see anyone else's point of view. This was studied by liberal professor Jonathan Haidt. In his book, he described an experiment he did with some of his university students:

1. He had the students self-identify as either liberal or conservative and separate into two large groups based on that identification.
2. He gave each group a list of political issues.
3. He had each group describe their own views on these issues.
4. He had each group attempt to describe the other group's views on the issues.

He was surprised to find that the conservatives were pretty good at accurately describing the liberal group's views, whereas the liberal groups' description of the conservative views were less accurate.

This shouldn't really be surprising, although Haidt being a liberal made him blind to the reason before he witnessed it.

Surveys show conservatives are about twice as likely to have liberal friends as liberals are to have conservative friends.

Liberals are nearly 3x as likely to block and unfriend someone over politics.

Liberals will alienate family members over politics, and they're disgustingly proud of it.

A while back, under my previous username, I did a thread here debunking a used-to-be common claim by liberals that "fear and anxiety drive conservativism." They would always point to this blog post by some professor about a study purportedly proving this. I looked into it, and turns out, the study actually showed the exact opposite and had been misrepresented. The journal that published the study was eventually forced to apologize for allowing it through peer review because even a quick examination of it revealed that the "researcher" lied in the abstract and conclusions.

It actually showed fear and anxiety drive liberalism. Liberals are inherently less able or willing to face things that make them uncomfortable. Or, more likely, people who are less able or willing to face things that make them uncomfortable tend to gravitate towards liberalism. Further study is needed on which one is the chicken or the egg.

Anyway, this obviously inhibits learning and problem-solving, because you can't resolve something you refuse to see. (Unfortunately, I think I did this takedown in the Mud Pit so more people would see it, so now it appears to be irretrievable.)

This also explains why they can't understand viewpoints they don't agree with. They simply ignore them, and then caricaturize them. Basically, because they're too scared to listen to ideas they don't agree with and surround themselves with people they agree with, all they know about conservative viewpoints comes from Rachel Maddow types. In other words, they're completely detached from reality.

This really should be its own thread, especially since my old one touching on some of this is now lost. Maybe someday I'll redo it, or if someone else has the time, feel free to cannibalize some of what I did here.
