With SEVEN DAYS TO ELECTION DAY (Tuesday Nov 5th 2024), a question for ATS members.
In general what do you consider Most important, 2nd most important, 3rd most important, etc., when choosing who to vote for?
Is your top priority to vote for the person whom you feel will benefit your immediate family, or is your top priority more generalized...like World Peace, or Climate Change, or Protecting Allies, etc.??
For YOURS TRULY (WeMustCare), the Economy is generally #1, followed by appointing Conservative Justices as #2. Those two items drive 80% of my decision. The other 20% is comprised of less important items that change from election to election. (Taxes, Healthcare, Swamp Draining, etc..)
WHAT ABOUT YOU? Care to share your general priorities when determining who to vote for, for President or any other elected office?

I am not an American, but I believe that countries are fairly arbitrary. The idea that a location classifies ideology and morality is false.

I'll remember that the next time you post your bigoted anti-American dogma.

A stronger economy and the preservation of our freedoms.
Democrats are awful for both, so I'll be voting Trump.
And, for the first time, I am going to vote a straight Republican ticket.
I'm a libertarian on most issues. Unfortunately, at the national level the Libertarian party is a joke and their candidates are usually awful. But in every election, I study my state and local races and choose the candidate that most aligns with my views, which is occasionally a Democrat or some other party in down-ballot races.
Democrats have become so extreme I can't justify voting for anyone with a D next to their name this time.

The Democrat "ground game" is becoming annoying. Even if I were a Democrat, I'd be offended by the variety and frequency of their contacts as we get closer to election day, followed by silence over the next 2 or 4 years. They must harvest voter data from some place, and have no discipline with using it.
