Obviously, Trump hates the environment.

Think about it...

Turning off electricity stops its production with fossil fuels. This in turn will decrease the output of CO2 into the atmosphere, thus starving plants of their life giving gas and they all will die.

Imagine Kamala, the Greens, and the entire Left are standing slack-jawed saying "Why didn't we think of this?!?".

Yes the video is an Onion parody, but in the real world try getting permits for a new power plant of any kind, anywhere. Might as well ban electricity! (Unless of course it's for charging electric cars and keeping Hollywood mansions comfortable, then electricity is good...)

Nice to see some sanity.

One of the things I found so funny about The Onion video is that my Great-Grandpa's surname was mentioned....he was a Methodist preacher and a farmer in Ohio back in the day and it made me laugh a little harder than I already was...I've been wondering who to vote for and I think I just had a sign from my Poppy that I'm doing the right thing, kids today are getting too wild and out of hand, well, consumers in general.

I know lately here Trump's campaign has been resonating with my normally liberal orientation....but I'm a moderate at heart.

I fired up the generators this season to make sure they run. I just use them during power outages to run the freezers, an hour a day keeps everything froze....and taking out a roast from the freezer keeps the fridge cold. I have a wood cookstove that can heat the house and cook food.........I voted for Trump today because I am prepared I now see.

Although my one vote means nothing, I also know Kamala just seems to tell everyone what they want to hear to get her votes, and Trumps lies are not as bad as Kamalas...or is it spelled Kamula like she now pronounces it since she considers herself as a woman of color instead of a regular common citizen of the USA. We are all supposed to have equal rights, and that right I guess includes the equal right to be deceived by politicians and cons.

For those of us in a subpoverty tax bracket Nationally...

This might bode well for those of us in rural areas without survival means like generators who depend on the Grid staying up and running.

We have enough blankets and clothing to keep toasty and minimize the use of our space heaters to a minimum, and the house is energy rated.

Just worried if the lines go down my Mother in Laws oxygen might have to be charged in the car.

Plus it's the South so...barring a sudden freak ice storm and lines getting cut we should all be ok on this circuit.

Good prepping for those in colder climates though!

We're still saving up for propane.

Nor do I find Trump's stories all that fascinating.

I just want a quiet humble, simple life.
