I'm in east Texas, so we don't get real seasons here.
But we have a cold front moving through and it smelled like Fall this morning.

Decaying leaves and all that. It was great. It's supposed to be 45 in the morning and I'm all for it.

We burn leaves here and the smell is amazing!!! I lived in Dallas for 2 years in 2003, Texas is a very cool State! The Texas state fair is also pretty cool!

45 is cold for Texas! Brr!

Great post JJ. My wife and I have been wanting to go up that way one of these falls. It’s just hard to time it right.

Up here in the PNW it isn't time yet, this is 'our ''hints'' period. It tantalizes us with smatters here and there, just waiting. I like to try and not notice the change until it explodes and blows me away. Here, it's about a two week stretch of time, just be fore the first good rainfall then when half the leaves are still up and half down it's like wonderland especially that first rain comes in after a nice day of wind. Oh yeah.

We used to do summer vacations in Traverse City area. Leland, sleeping bear dunes, Petoskey, even made it up to Mackinaw once. That place is magical and at least back then, it was a hidden gem that wasn't over populated. Some of my best memories.

The cherry festival, cherry pie, swimming in a clear lake. (grew up in Cleveland on Lake Erie, so there is a difference)

Enjoy your fall.

It’s so beautiful up there! It’s still not over populated!

The dunes are amazing too! I found a really cool cherry store! The amazing water is still super clear!

I have a 16 year old. He used to love Cedar Point. Now nope! Have you been there lately? They have massive new coasters. The Gemini is still fun but the new ones are just jew dropping steep.

The ride to Cleveland from Detroit is always fun.

Enjoy your fall too!
