This is not good. When the military act as our police force they tend to assume civilians are under the same rules they are supposed to follow. This makes for many misunderstandings for those who live under the common law. This also means that the state makes enemies of the sovereign people of America. This is a serious breach of the constitutional social contract where the government is the trustee and the people and their posterity are the beneficiary.
The government may have authority over corporate citizens but the government as trustee is subservient to actual living people.

When the military acts as a police force, it presumes all people not military are the enemy.

This is very bad change of policy and should be outlawed.

Each state is free to refuse military assistance.

Some states have outlawed any assistance involving the murder of state citizens by U.S. military. Police should arrest any military personnel who kill state citizens or state nationals or noncitizen American Nationals.

This is what you are up against. Generation Alphas are the kids of the millennials. Gen Alpha record themselves murdering other kids and post it on social media. They will be in our military soon after graduating highs school. So think hard about changing the new DOD directives.

The DOD directive is out of character while under a Democrat administration. This means the Democrats in the white house are not real Liberals but liberals in name only and more than likely they are the same group of war profiteers under the Bush administration.

It's being now discussed that this directive is a trial ballon more than anything else. The patriot act & Covid eroded a ton of US freedoms an this is just another grab at it. Eyes on the US public to gauge reactions by "somebody".

By the way things are being whipped up over election instigated civil war it's easy to think this is preemptive. With the kerfuffle of power grabs over who can help the flood disaster area's in NC/KY/TN "somebody" may have jumped the gun for the next hurricane disaster.
