Coachella Kerfuffle---Where are the buses ?

Donald Trump made the unusual decision to hold a campaign event in Coachella, California on Saturday — a state that he’s undoubtedly set to lose in this year’s election — and bussed supporters 5 miles into the venue to do so. Unfortunately for thousands of those who showed up, the buses seemingly didn’t return to the venue late into the night, leaving many attendees stranded.

For some reason this rally was not held near appropriate road systems and happy Trump supporters needed to be bused into the area that the rally was being held. Iv also gather that car parking was about five miles away from he event.

In a separate video re-shared on X, a man explained, “This isn’t normal. Apparently, the buses are no longer coming. Or at least there used to be like 20 buses when we were being brought here. But now there’s only like three buses operating, and it’s an absolute… It’s just chaos, absolute chaos. All of us are stranded here. Everyone’s stranded here.”

At this point, it sounds to me as if the entire story is incomplete as the story that is unveiling can only be put together from a composite of tweets and messages sent out by those who had to wait for hours to find transportation.

An other woman posted

“it was a nightmare.” The line to park cars was “a mile long” and “and the cars were not moving.” They parked about a mile from the venue and walked the entire distance to the parking lot, where they hoped to board a shuttle.

The Desert Sun reported that the event was limited to a maximum capacity of 15,000 people by Riverside County, but Trump claimed that the rally was attended by 100,000.

WOW, either the county of Riverside is way off it's mark in stating the limits on capacity there or, Trump's campaign is severely overstating the turn out. Even at 50% of what is claimed, that is still pushing a lot of people into a small space.

Apparently the pool of buses, however meny there were, were running out of gas with no readly available means of refueling

So, as one poster suggested, it waas sabatoage. Maybe it was. But it also could be as simple as a logistics failure, a failure in planing by the Trump team.

They bussed in and dropped the people off at the rally without a hitch but never picked the people back up. It sounds like a payment issue. Did the Trump visa get declined or something?

Maybe, or maybe not. It may be that should he win, those who donate millions and millions of dollars to his campaign will not allow his second term to go about as unorganized as his first. Remember, no one really expected him to win the first time. This time eight years later those power houses have had plenty of time to get organized and make sure he runs it their way.

Nope, At this point most reports as reported in the link say it was a lack of planning in getting that bus fleet properly gassed up.

Coachella is in the desert — kind of in the middle of nowhere — not far from Palm Springs.

This snafu is very serious.

then what you have here may be evidence of a real conspiracy rather than just a conspiracy theory. Maybe a few Evil Dems bribed the bus drivers to take a hike and leave the MAGA faithful stranded out in the desert.

But I think it's far more likely to be, as you put it, something

as simple as a logistics failure, a failure in planing by the Trump team.

The whole USA will be like this if Trump wins. Not just a dictatorship but a hilariously incompetent one.

The bus gas story sounds bogus.

Anyone from this area knows there’s miles and miles of nothing but sand and scrub. You always keep your tank gassed up.

However, Milton could be a reason for shortage of gas.
