Incoming Solar Flares at X-7 and X-9

Looks like the X-7 will impact on Friday Oct. 4th and the X-9 on Oct. 5th ... There might be a problem with the spacing of these events as far as some electrical grids ? youtu.be...

It will be telling as to the effect of an X7 buffeting the weakened magnetic field followed by an X9 . With a bit of luck all we will see is low latitude auroras. But you never know it is best to be prepared for any eventuality.

If we get a third even bigger CME it could cause some extra problems. These are big enough to cause some power outages in places...it depends on what side of the earth that one is on when they hit I suppose. Sounds like there may be some sort of sun halo effect with this...they are kind of cool to look at.

Hello ATS , just out of interest as a lot of you folks are pretty clever,, Would a solar flare affect titanium implants lol.

I have not a clue but you just made me think of something else.

In the somewhat near future as people start to get brain implants for a variety of uses...
I wonder what solar flares will do to them??!?

Indeed, i agree it could be an issue, i am sure i read that brain waves are affected by solar flares somewhere.
