AOC along with several other members of Congress are “looking into” ways of “reining in the media environment.” She says that censorship is necessary “so that you can’t just spew disinformation.” Who made her the arbiter of the truth? They’re coming for X.

there is a difference in book learning and common sense, plus BU is known to be to be right up there with all the other ultra liberal / progressive schools ranked number 33. so that's hardly saying anything, for all we know she could have impressed the liberal / progressive professors and staff with her views that matched theirs, and that's why she got the cum laude.

Throughout history, there have been a few intelligent people within the communist\socialist crowd. Mostly artist types.
But the vast majority of them, like AOC, are complete idiots.
Their main philosophy is simple: If I have more then you, that means I'm oppressing you. You're a victim. If I have a bigger house, with nice things, and you're poor, then i'm evil, while you're heroic and noble. It matters not one whit if I worked my ass off while you never got off your lazy ass.

She really is that stupid. The last time I heard her speak, she said the U.S. was experiencing "end-stage capitalism". I think she actually believes that there's going to be a glorious revolution, and she will play an important role in the communist utopia.

Of course she's in favor of censorship. She's a commie.
