After the 2016 elections Democrat operatives took the country on a three year long political persecution of the then sitting president Donald Trump over his alleged ties to Russia and Vladimir Putin.

Unfortunately for the Democrat party, their duplicitous attack on the sitting president was exposed when it was revealed that their only real evidence of a Trump / Putin alliance was fabricated by Hillary Clinton and wrongly used by the FBI/DOJ to obtain illegal search warrants.

Even so, the FBI/DOJ still categorize the Mueller special counsel investigation as a success because they were able to expose how Russian trolls used misleading and deceptive social media post and aids to influence the 2016 elections.

Well it now appears that the Harris campaign has learned a valuable lesson from the Russian trolls and have been putting out their own brand of social media disinformation in an attempt to influence the 2024 elections.

According to CNN, the deceptive Harris campaign social media arm has been lying to the American people on a range of topics from Donald Trump's cognitive decline, to his policy stances, to comments he made regarding the Charlottesville protesters.

Harris campaign social media account has repeatedly deceived with misleading edits and captions

Washington
CNN

A social media account run by Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has been repeatedly deceptive.

The Harris campaign deploys @KamalaHQ as a kind of irreverent attack dog, using jocular posts to draw attention to controversial, incorrect, or dubious comments by Trump and his allies. But the account, which the Harris campaign calls its “official rapid response page,” has itself made inaccurate comments on multiple occasions.

Below are eight examples of false or misleading video posts from the account since mid-August, including three from the latter part of this week.

I assume you are referring to the Mueller Investigation, which went from May of 2017 to March of 2019. It started when lifetime Republican and Attorney General Jeff Sessions correctly recused himself from direct management of the investigations because as a direct employee/appointee of Trump he would have been one of the subjects of the investigation and therefore would have had an irreconcilable conflict of interest. That left it up to lifetime Republican and acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to run the investigation. So he correctly appointed a Special Counsel to lead the investigation--again to avoid any perception of conflict of interest. That Special Counsel was lifetime Republican and former head of the FBI Robert Mueller. Lifetime Republican Bill Barr replaced Jeff Sessions as Attorney General and correctly did nothing to interfere with or change the direction of the Special Counsel Investigation and was the one who ultimately received the Report.

A redacted version of the Report was eventually released which concluded, in part:

"..... Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election did occur "in sweeping and systematic fashion" and "violated U.S. criminal law.

and,

...the investigation "identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign", found that Russia "perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency" and that the 2016 Trump presidential campaign "expected it would benefit electorally" from Russian hacking efforts. However, ultimately "the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities"

None of the links to the Russian Government identified by the Mueller investigation had anything to do with the so-called Steele Dossier, and multiple Russian nationals were indicted on election interference crimes.

So we have a bunch of lifetime Republicans, all appointed by Trump himself, or hired by people appointed by Trump, all of them playing exactly by the book, and all of this happening under the Trump Administration. And they produced a report which detailed all the linkages between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, which resulted in criminal charges being filed against the Russians, but concluded that none of those linkages rose to the level of criminal conspiracy on the part of Trump or his team. So they essentially cleared his name, in that regard.

Please point to the Democrat operatives in this story and where the persecution took place.

Who paid for the partisan generated fake and totally false dossier, then passed it over to famous rino never-trumper and serial plane crasher McStain so he could in turn pass it to the FBI in order to create a valid concern where there was none?

I want my portion of the 25 million of taxpayer money spent on that democrat campaign contribution.

Yes, I am referring to the Mueller Investigation. Were in the only people the investigation tried to persecute for crimes were Russian trolls who used deceptive social media to influence the election... in the very same way the Harris campaign is using deceptive social media. You got that correct.

It's a good thing that government group that was supposed to round up and kill all the disinfo folks didn't pan out.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Right. "Disinfo folks" meaning anyone casting Democrats in a less than favorable light.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

You can't honestly be this willingly mislead in every way possible...every facet of the entire united States government has agreed to the debunking that was done on that investigation. It isn't like there are some people who hold it as factual and some who don't, it is literally, historical lyrics a hoax and untrue in every sense and factually nonsense. If you are still arguing in favor of it, you are a prime example of TDS, you hate him so much and only for reasons fabricated by network television and the internet. If not, show me one negative opinion you ever had regarding trump before his presidential run. If he really is Hitler reincarnated, then surely you would have been fighting him even long before his political aspirations. You didn't just give Hitler a free pass until he ran for office did you?
