Due to Trump Leading the Race for President - NY Judge Merchan Will Sentence Him to Prison 9.18.2024

If he loses, I doubt anyone would care. Least of all the #tards trying to put him in jail to screw with the election. Once it's over, it's over. But after so much losing, I think the idiot left should get a little door prize. They aren't smart enough to work for winning ideas, so Trump in jail for his remaining days on earth might be just what they need to not slit their wrists.

Nah, if Trump gets cheated again then he'll disappear from the media as fast as all those nags who were paid to say Trump assaulted them in the 70's. He'll be too old to run again. Dems only want to lock him up to keep him from winning. He's cleaner than any politician in Washington so maybe the day will come that politicians are investigated as much as Trump has been. It'd really clean house then.

The case will get dismissed and the convictions reversed. He was acting in official capacities on some points, therefore, all the evidence is poisoned and voided. Plus it was Cohen and accountants that rigged the fix. 👋

No. It’s like saying correctly invoicing legal expenses for a legal contract is somehow tax fraud.

But the money was to reimburse the middle-man for payments to other parties. The fraud was misrepresenting that it was a completely legal payment to a middle-man. We have the whole paper trail and a number of witnesses to all 34 fraudulent transactions. It wasn't just once.

In separate trials, the Trump organization has also been convicted of tax fraud and other business fraud. There was systematic repeated fraud occurring there, and he owned and directed the company.

Looking at the poll average. (All candidates) Trump flipped back Arizona to +1 after RFK Jr. dropped, but has fallen into a tie in North Carolina and Georgia, and now trailing in Wisconisn, Michigan, Pennsilylvania, and Nevada.

Of the 7 states that will decide this, Trump leads 1 of those by single percent. Even if he wins the tied states, it reads as 275-263, 270-268 if Trump takes Nevada.

Plus 9/10 outcome predicting Litchman just said 8 Keys for Harris and 3 Keys for Trump. And he only missed in 2000.

While the debate could change this, Trump is not necessarily the leading candidate. Nor is locking him up necessary to win an election.

Trump has been ranting for nearly 50 minutes now about the E. Jean Caroll case that he's appealing, again claiming he doesn't know her despite his being found liable for sexually abusing and defaming her and having to post more than $91 million in bond money to cover the damages against him.

"It’s an appeal of a ridiculous verdict of a woman I have never met," Trump said at Trump Tower during an event that was originally billed as a press conference.

"She wrote a book and made a ridiculous story up," he said. "This is a disgraceful case, it’s about a former president of the United States who is now leading in the polls to be president again."

A few hours ago he's ranting, and breaking just now, case postponed until after the election, November 26th.

Perhaps they are betting/hoping/"plotting to make sure" Harris wins, so they can sentence him as he rants on about the outcome again.

I posted earlier in this thread about the unreliability of thegatewaypundits predictions, and suggested that we wait and see.

I think what has happened has been that media organizations that purport to give us news, have all gone 24 hour, but there is maybe only 20 to 30 minutes of actual news happening in any average day.

So, they started commentary on those actual news topics as filler at first. But that's kind of boring, and doesn't really attract viewers, so they started making some of talking heads out to be oracles who told us what would happen, without the need for all that investigative journalism. And, to get clicks an views, they had to say stuff outrageous, shocking and emotively engaging.

So, very soon, the real news was sidelined for the bold coloured, big movement, flashing lights, camera zooms and sharp edits opiniontainment that online media has now become.

Perhaps pseudonews sources should be judged according to the numerous failures to give us the truth, and we should simply refuse to give them any views or clicks (like, as if we had our own brains and a little discernment). I'm sure there are enough 'old timey' news sources around who have journalistic pedigree and credibility. And you don't have to watch them 24x7 in case you miss something.

I am not.
This spells very bad news for Trump.
The postponement is the clearest indication that the judge fully intends to send Trump to prison.
Doing it before the election would cause choas.
The bet here is that Trum ploses the election, at which point he will be taken off the board so he is unable to cause any more trouble for the establishment.

IMO - Judge Merchan delayed former President Trump's sentencing, because he knows sentencing the next President to Prison means the remainder of his (Merchan and family) life will be miserable...at BEST.
