I have figured out a way to make a beer edible and I would love the laws to change to where I could sell it.

Just do what the Bavarians do, call it "bread" and you can sell it

Cheers

36 states...and Canada....are already legal. No issues. TONS of taxes made for each state.

Which seems to explain why it was "legalized", as opposed to simply being decriminalized, and left to free-market conditions.

Big business !

Another aspect is 2A. There are already states that don't allow ownership if you're known to embibe in MJ, use drugs, even prescritption psychotropics. Other states have made mention of passing such laws, so that would be a HUGE plus to end 2A in another decade or two. I'm waatching to see what other states want to join in those efforts.

My state passed a law that they will not take away your right to own a firearm if you have a medical license.

Hopefully they don't change that in the future.

Yep. And made like millions $$$ in Michigan State taxes this past year alone.

No more pot job testing either soon. They'll leave marijuana completely out of random testing.

✌️😁

I think it's great that Kentucky is taking steps toward medical marijuana, even if the rules seem a bit restrictive at first. Personally, I can see how the no-smoking rule might frustrate some folks, but a good dry herb vaporizer or even thc vapes can be solid alternatives—less harsh and often more discreet. That said, I’m a bit concerned about the prices too. I've heard from friends in other states that dispensaries can really push the limits of affordability. It’s tough when people who really need it, like those managing chronic pain or PTSD, have to jump through so many hoops. On the bright side, this change is a step forward. Hopefully, as the system matures, it’ll become more accessible for everyone.

Cannabis laws in my state haven't been enforced for over 30 years. LEOs know it's the drunks that cause all the problems and often get them killed in domestic disputes. Horticulture and gardening is a favorite pastime for the community; One acre lots are the norm and most of the dispensaries sell clones as well as edibles and flowers. Allotments for over 6 plants are available for $50. And down along the acacias.....
