Trump considers Elon for role in auditing US agencies

Trump is reportedly eyeing a plan to involve prominent business executives, including Elon, in auditing federal agencies to identify programs to cut.

Elon has already shown interest in taking on the role.

When Elon came into Twitter he slashed over 2/3 of it including all DEI.

Hope he does this to our government.

Might I suggest starting with all 3 letter agencies?

Trump has already said he is going to axe the DoE. Hope he goes a lot further.

Trump making a lot moves to court Libertarians - moves that I appreciate.



Meanwhile Harris going socialist and says she wants to price fix.

Screw socialists and socialism. I’m sure they think it will work this time because it’s never really been done right before.

The economy would absolutely SOAR upwards if this can happen. Would really like to see it. Currently the government, because of the current administration, is floundering on the precipice of chronic downturn and corruption. It cannot endure and needs to end.

I think it would be entertaining to watch it unfold, as it surely would rile a lot of people up.

But I’m extremely skeptical it would have good outcomes.

I think one of the problems with the first administration was a lot of corporate presence in the cabinet level positions. It’s just too tempting for them to make decisions in their interests.

We saw it with Black Rock quarter backing the recover efforts during COVID, and the fallout from that. Certain stocks were favored, Black Rock started buying a whole bunch of real estate ect.

One of the other problems we see in our government is the revolving door from connected people in government leaving to lobby.

There’s no shortage of corporate channels into the government, whether it be lobbying, donation, ect. I don’t think more is the fix.

It gets eliminated not replaced. The States handled education long before DOE was formed in 1979.

States get supplimental funding for their public schools in exchange for the government setting the curriculum that schools must teach, such as DEI.

I must admit after Musk suggested replacing democracy with high-status males I did laugh, other than making money the guy is a tw*t and far removed from a high [testostrone] alpha male, and seems to have a fear of woman in power.
