link to yacht sinking

So, the above is kind of nuts, a massive, luxury yacht goes down off the coast of Sicily.

Among the missing is UK tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch who successfully defended himself against an accusation of fraud brought by Hewlett Packard in 2011.

Same time though, we get this linky His co defendant fatally struck by a car while out for a run in a quiet Cambridgeshire village. No news on who was driving yet.

What are the odds though? these two "Killed" within days like this?

Something smells terribly fishy to me.

ETA Lynch's lawyer who defended him in the fraud case is also missing on the boat.

an update re the car The blue Vauxhall Corsa was travelling between Stretham and Wicken on the A1123 when the collision with the pedestrian happened at about 10.10am on Saturday (17 August).

The man, who was in his 50s and from Longstanton, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

The driver of the car, a 49-year-old woman from Haddenham, remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.

and the yacht According to BBC, the luxury yacht is linked to Mike Lynch's wife. According to Equasis, a maritime data service, the Bayesian is owned by Revtom, a firm registered in the Isle of Man. Angela Bacares is named as the sole legal owner, with an address registered in London.

hmmmm....
Unless the missing people in the yacht, wanted to disappear?

So many different scenarios to think about.

Or just Karma? Or a great tragedy.

The world may never know....

With everyone depending on technology these days and lacking common sense as a result, the odds of people getting killed on a modern boat or hit by a car are increasing. Those automatic braking systems on cars don't pick up a deer very well in front of the car, and I suppose it is the same with a person on the road. We are becoming too reliant on technology and are not evaluating what we see or hear as well anymore.

It isn't a coincidence, people are eating foods that mess us up, and also technology is making us into morons.

The car accident is a possible hit job (has been a known method in the past) but the superyaucht incident wouldn't make much sense unless HP created the US hurricane (tail end of which is causing the storms in Spain, France and UK.

The odd part is the boat is named Bayesian after Bayes' Theorem which is the type of stats that are used to calculate such probabilities. The probability would be incredibly low (1 in a few million) but still possible.

One wonders if the boat captain checked out the weather forecast.

Cheers

Are you saying somehow, assassins came up with a way to send a water spout and precisely controlled its movement, to create this tragedy, they could shut up a dude, or dudes?

Luxury yachts are equip with so many coms and radar it’s hard to Imagine them simply sinking and disappearing.

You would expect distress calls it has radar internet, the whole works.

Which leads me to believe they were jammed, the attack professional.

more than likely a hit was planned and the water spout just happened, and turned out it was the perfect opportunity to cover it up.

How many times do people need to be told not to be predictable, like don’t do the same routine the same exact time every day?

Well I'm leaning towards Mike Lynch wanting to disappear so I would be very surprised if they find his or his daughter's body fairly soon.
