I liked that Major Major's dad named him as a joke. And the Air Force's computer made him an actual Major.

I loved M.A.S.H.

Used to watch that with my granny on 9pm BBC2.

The film was a bit different from the show i seem to recall.

True. But the series had it's moments. Gallows humour?

When it comes to the inevitable Ukraine war films, whose your pick to play Zelensky or Dobbie...I mean, Putin?

So I worked out the math roughly to June-ish 2022.

but it's really a play on words, admit it!

Me thinks that I over think it

I agree with you, my friend, in the first part of your post.
However, don't you think that the confidence of some Western people in the "nightmares" that are supposedly happening in Russia is precisely the result of Catch 22, applied to them by Western propaganda?
I have always written that it is better to see once than to hear or read 100 times. Come to Russia, look around, talk to people, and perhaps you will change your opinion to the opposite. Welcome!

Well to me it is more accurately and concisely stated

Catch 22: Damned if you do, and Damned if you don't. A no win situation.

Didn't like the film M*A*S*H either. Loved the series.

But I'm just a grumpy old man.

Harrumph.

I watched every bit of that being in a MASH unit in the military. I learned that our unit was only missing the Alcohol still. It was just like that series for sure. Crazy nurses, crazy doctors, and lots of getting things thru some clandestine way from some other unit and then bartering like at a ME Bizaar. The personalities were just like the show and I had a blast being in the Dental Detachment of that Medical Battalion.

The late Alan Rickman would have been a good Putin.

Gary Oldman?

Or John Hurt. He is about the right head size too. Rest his soul.

There are a few good choices out there.

Toby Jones?

Worked for Dobby.

Not something you would want to get typecast in all the same.

It would be like playing Hitler.

Do numbers count as words ?

Yes.
Word: a single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing
If you can write 22 and say twenty-two, then by all means. The hyphen is silent of course.

20-2=22
proves that a hyphen is not equal to a minus sign.

therefore: "-" may be a word, but not "-".

Taylor Swift - 22

I'm catching on that Taylor Swift is popular these days.

What is a dash, minus a hyphen ? "-_-"

"-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-" "-_-"
