Jack Russell of Great White just passed away

One of my favorite bands ever. Spent many years enjoying this band and this mans fabulous voice.

R.I.P. my friend, I will miss you dearly.

I once saw Great White opening for someone, can't remember, but Great White did the Immigrant song from Led Zeppelin, and it was pretty amazing. So much so that I only remember that part of the entire concert. (and it has nothing to do with the part where that was first, and some guy behind me passed me something that appeared to be on fire and had smoke coming from it)

These are some JAMS! I like all types of music but something about i guess you call it "hair metal" maybe?? Something about the sound i really like i didn't know of this band i have heard the first song you posted but never knew what band it was or who it was now i know thanks for expanding my music library with this rockin music!

I just worked with Jack 6 or 8 months ago.

The thing that struck me was how every fan got an autograph or picture who wanted it after the show. We had the deck clear, trailer locked, and I was driving away...and he was still at it.

He will truly be missed.

I saw these guys once right before they hit it big. They were playing a small (well, medium) venue in MI. I wasn't really into the whole metal scene then (my neighbor convinced me to go, he was a metal head). Saw Great White and Queenryche (right before they hit the charts also), plus several other unknowns. I remember thinking..."I wonder if any of these guys will hit it big??" My neighbor was all into Queensryche; he'd gotten his hands on some demo tape which would become Operation Mindcrime, so that's why we went, but it was a pretty good show (horrible venue though, terrible acoustics and I was waiting for the building to fall down from all the sound).

Always liked the "Rock Me" song.

I just hope, that at least once, he got to hear someone tell him that he was a good dog.

RIP. Another one taken way too early.
