Their Democracy is a Lie .

Democracy.

a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. control of an organization or group by the majority of its members.

Constitutional Republic .

A constitutional republic means that it is one in which, rather than directly governing, the people select some of their members to temporarily serve in political office; the constitutional part means that both the citizens and their governing officials are bound to follow the rules established in that Constitution.

Difference

By definition, a republic is a representative form of government that is ruled according to a charter, or constitution, and a democracy is a government that is ruled according to the will of the majority. Although these forms of government are often confused, they are quite different.

All of this is easily googled and yet it is not common knowledge at all .

How many times are we going to hear Politicians on the media shouting “ Our Democracy “ ? He is a Threat to our Democracy. That sort of thinking is a threat to our Democracy , We must do this for our Democracy.

Do you not see ? Democracy can be literally whatever they deem it to be . It is Majority rule or better yet it is a MOB MENTALITY . Democracy has this connotation with Freedom or Fairness and it couldn’t be further from the Truth . The Majority can choose Socialism , Communism or Fascism or anything they deem necessary for the betterment of Democracy . There is no set of ideals , Rules or Constitutions holding a Democracy accountable .

Donald Trump is a threat to “ Our Democracy “ notice they almost always say “ OUR “ meaning OUR POWER . They are being honest with you in a roundabout way if you just pay attention.

Most European countries are ruled by a Socialist party that rose from within and eventually gained power .

The Democrat Party is America’s Socialist Party . If America falls completely to Socialism then so will the Rest of the world in short order . The last true vestige of America’s Constitutional Republic is the Republican party and the Supreme Court . I am not a fan of the Republicans; they are lazy leaders and always a step behind the Career Politician Democrats.

In the End we the People still hold the power in America . Mainly through the 2nd amendment but none the less we still hold the power. Of course Voting . Voting is a sacred event in any Democracy or Republic . It’s why the thought of our elections being rigged is unthinkable but that is another topic all together .

Our Republic is a threat to their democracy.

We are a Constitutional Republic.

A Democracy is different.

When people scream that we are a Democracy, you just want to slap the stupid out of them.

And no, it has nothing to do with wanting to name the countries political process after the Republicans. I'm not Republican. So before a certain unnamed idiot shows up and says that crap again, I'll squash that stupidity into the dirt beneath our feet. We are a Constitutional Republic. That's the truth of the matter.

We witnessed first hand what Democracy is when desperation is in play. We witnessed how Democracy Leaders can take down sitting Presidents. We witnessed how Democracy elections can mean nothing in more ways than last Sunday. WHAT "Democracy" version WILL we witness next?? ☠️

Would it surprise you to know that government service was never meant to be a full time job. Nor a career path?

It was meant to be an actual sacrifice.

The duly elected democrat reps effectively performed the electoral role and asserted their authority to ratify Kamala as the new presidential candidate. And if anyone in congress dares to challenge that authority, it's a cold day in hell when the DNC rolls over and agrees to reset the primary elections.

I would imagine majority of congress prefers the easy way over the "right way" especially so close to the general election. Bigger fish to fry and all that.

the form of our government is a Democratic Republic, or maybe best described as a democratic constitutional republic

in a republic the representatives are voted in office by the people to represent them, in a democracy people vote directly for laws.

at a federal level yes the U.S. is a republic, at a state and and local level it's both, in that people vote for representatives to do their biding, but they also have a say in what laws maybe passed through initiatives, referendums and recalls.

I have a feeling it's not what you said but how you said it mate.

and there is a time and place for every topic clearly it wasn't the opportune time for your post. , I posted this one because of the glaringly obvious mis-interpretation of the Word ' Democracy ' and how it's being used by the Left and Media .

They are hiding behind the Magical Connotation of ' Democracy ' knowing full well they mean something else entirely .

All I want is for the average citizen watching the Media to understand every time they hear the Word ' Democracy ' what it really means is ' Power' or if you'd rather ' Party ' is also a good word.

What we witnessed was the True Nature of the Democratic Party . They will not allow anyone to get in the way of their maintaining Power.

Due process , Separations of Power , Elections / Voting . None of it mattered once the sitting POTUS Joe Biden threatened their power.

The constitution: "Then everyone agrees to follow the rules, no matter what the temptation."

Exactly . Government service was meant to be a literal " Service " to ones country. or as you better said a " SACRIFICE " .

It's not to pursue power or enrich yourself or do favors for rich donors once you get into office. It was a temporary service that anyone would be glad to walk away from after a term or two .

It's a hard Job with Hard Decisions that is supposed to stress the hell out of you if you're doing your Job right . No sane person should be able to be a Senator or Congressman for 50 years especially if they are ruling on behalf of the people and not themselves.

I'm of the belief that our government can be salvaged.

It'll take quite little in regards to words, but quite a bit in regards to action.

Remove all incentives for government employees. From the POTUS to the no name representative. They all should be on par with the national median wage.

And accountability. We have laws and those in positions of power should be held to the highest standard.

Actually they do have term limits. they have to be re elected in the congress and senate. And SC justices term is till they die.
