I have a sensitivity to scents. Any of the fragrances and aldehyde chemistries bother me. I quit going to church many years ago because all the
perfumes, aftershaves, and shampoos gave me a pounding headache by the end of the service. I knew what was causing them but occasionally had to still
go to church for funerals, marriages, and other things...and verified it was not god giving me the headaches, it was the fragrances in there. It also
bothered me at big sit down events like lectures and stuff and even movie theaters. So I can't blame it on church. In a crowded tavern I could not
know for sure what was the cause of my headaches. I think that was alcohol...but alcohol breaks down to acetylaldehyde and I do not have a good
enzyme genetically to break down aldehydes. Getting my genetics done did not help, it just identified what was causing the problem. I have always
avoided women and men that wear tons of aftershave, perfumes, cologne, and stinky soaps. Since way before I discovered those scents bothered me. If
a girl wore perfume and stinky stuff, I avoided her....which limited my selection of woman quite a bit back in the seventies.
I wonder why people would buy expensive perfume made from Whale puke.
