I'm pleased they're running with this private prosecution, because the Crown Prosecution Service are obviously too # scared to do it themselves.
I imagine they were hoping either Reform would back down, or the 'news cycle' would change and us plebs would forget about it.

My biggest problem is the OBVIOUS two tier 'justice' we've got now under Dear Leader Starmer. If those thugs were white, they'd have been beaten down quickly, arrested, and no bail until being quickly convicted in court.

But, like plenty of other examples in recent society, solely because these were Islamic thugs, our NWO puppy/puppet PM, chooses appeasement instead of decisive action.

I wish Reform the very best, because ALL video evidence points massively at a guilty verdict.

...Reform will probably be designated a 'prescribed terrorist group' next, nothing would surprise me with that prick currently residing in No.10!🤬

It wouldn't surprise me , the Left in Germany are trying to ban "Alternative for Germany" for fear they will lose the election to them next year.

Wanderwitz, a member of the Christian Democrats (CDU), currently the largest opposition party in the house, said he had secured the support of 113 members from various groups in the 733-member Bundestag.

The members are calling for the Constitutional Court to rule on whether the AfD's activities are in contravention of the constitution, citing Article 21 of the Basic Law, or constitution. They would have to demonstrate to the court that the AfD works in an aggressive and combative way against the constitution.

Germany's domestic intelligence service has listed the party as a suspected case of extreme right wing activity.

Action to ban a party can be brought before the court by the Bundestag, the upper house - the Bundesrat - or the federal government.

I've just read the article about this on the BBC News website.

Here's the link.

I was just wondering what you thought about the wording, context and impression it gives?

Well, they bent over backwards to hide the fact that these two inbreds attacked female officers.
If you didn't know what went on you would never have a clue from that report.

I thought they tried their best to portray the police officers in a bad light. The tone of the article sort of implies that the police officers assaulted the two accused for no reason whatsoever and that the CPS are wrong for not charging the officers.

Its very one-sided and biased as far as I can tell and it makes no attempt to explain the circumstances why the police were engaging with the accused and why force was necessary.

Maybe the Beeb feel that mentioning too many details would be prejudicial - Carpy? - but they've gone out of their way to show the police in a bad light and to sort of defend the accused.

Shocking reporting in my opinion.

Its like the opposite of how they used to be, blaming the miners for what the cops did at Orgreave, blaming the fans for the cops funnelling them into an overcrowded Leppings Lane end at Hillsborough. ad infinitum

I think it's unsurprising they focus on the poor perpetrators and not the police who were assaulted for doing their job given as the BBC story was written by Rumeana Jahangir & Rachael Lazaro , Rumeana Jahangir is also the author of a children's picture book entitled We Are Muslim.

The brothers can contest their innocence all they like but as there's video footage of their actions that we've all seen and bodycam footage we or they have yet to see I think if the CPS are running with it they must be confident of the case.

I wonder who is footing the bill for esteemed barrister Imran Khan KC or perhaps he's doing it Pro bono.

I met an Ambulance driver on holiday who drove onto the pitch at Hillsborough. Said the cover up and blaming Liverpool fans was disgusting.

It was and there is not one person who was part of that coverup has ever spent a day in nick, either.
It'll be the same with this whole post office thing. Various people lied, covered up the truth over the years but will any of the guilty ever see one night behind bars? Not a chance.

Not so sure about the PO.

Fraud? Perverting the course of justice? As a sometimes Prosecutor myself (not CPS) those who were involved in those Persecutions are, I strongly suspect, going to get their collars felt.

So many laws and duties clearly broken. Quite breathtaking.

As for Paula, that wretched woman is going down.

I don't think you get to choose your barrister if you're on Legal Aid you're given what you get , hiring a name with a reputation suggest to me they are not confident , it would be interesting to know who is footing the bill.

I hope you are right but theres no way I can see any of the guilty being forced to pay here. Look at that Vennels creature...all those lives she ruined and she is the one we ought to feel bloody sorry for? She even lacks the decency to off herself.

Yes, you can choose. If publically funded (Legal Aid) you will have to convince them that s KC is justified.

Probably pro bono, but I wouldn't know for sure.
