I understand, it's difficult to know , but she being the director and what I've seen how powerful people can get away easily with answers that she eventually doesn't have to fear for her life , would they actually throw it in the open kill her off and risk more suspicion imho ?

How about: "WHY did you let Trump go on stage when you knew an active threat was in the area?"

Because the answer to that question might be:


"The Secret Service can only 'Advise' a candidate and/or their campaign regarding what actions they should take in the face of a potential risk. The Service does not have the authority to force a candidate to comply with its advice."


The SS makes a clear distinction between what it believes to be an "Active" threat (some is shooting at an asset), and a "Potential " threat (word of a plot to shoot an asset is received). Active threats result in the removal of the asset from harm ASAP.

Assets are advised of Potential threats, and are advised to take precautionary action(s). Whether the advise is followed, or not, and to what extent, is up to the asset, and the assets "handlers".

So we could extrapolate IF the Secret Service advised Trump not to go on stage, why would they not say that publically and at least end the argument about whose responsibility letting him on the stage to begin with was?

I can't imagine if Trump knew the full situation, he would have been agreeable to go on that stage. They knew about the guy HOURS prior.

ETA: Unless he is in on it, naturally. With his blood packet at the ready.

No, it would not.


Agents on the ground are not supposed to speak to the media without authorization from above: doing so could result in termination (and if you are cynical, "termination" could mean more than just unemployment), and the inadvertent disclosure of security procedures which could jeopardize future operations.

And then there is the real possibility that not every one was given the same information: SS could have been told that local resources were coving certain aspects of the venue, while the local LEO'S were advised the the SS was in charge of securing those same areas.

Absolutely no reason for Trump to have been aware, or to have been made aware, of any plot to assassinate him...or to make it Look like an assassination attempt.


In fact, IF the intent was to "stage" an attempt, it would have been far better to make sure that Trump had Absolutely no prior knowledge of the plan; thus insuring that his reactions both immediately following the incident, and thereafter going forward, are, and appear, genuine.

The DIRECTOR of the SS has made multiple statements and is taking massive heat for the way the incident was handled. Not one word about a "stand down" order, just multiple flimsy excuses for their response or lack thereof.

So this is the one time that the establishment shields him and decides NOT to blame Trump. Trump has no power, he's not the "current boss" and the "current boss" certainly wouldn't hesitate to throw him under the bus.

Comedian J.P. Sears quipped that they'll probably try to charge Trump with "Inciting an Assassination" and you know they would if they could.
