This will avoid the succession of Harris so that she will have to fend for herself in the melee that will occur once Biden has made his announcement, or rather when Jill makes if for him.

Very possibly. However, do they really think that with her they can beat Trump? I doubt it. I think they think she is tarnished. They will go though the process of each state making their voices heard with their own nominations on the first ballot. Some will nominate favorite sons or daughters and others will nominate favorite celebrities . Celebrities you say? Of course as this will be an election of celebrity.

Biden had celebrity because he had been vp. Trump had celebrity in 15 because he cultivated it in the public eye for decades and then though that tv game he hosted.
