We live under a constitutional monarchy.

But the monarch's powers are limited.

And political power is primarily exercised by our elected representatives, within the parliamentary framework.

Our government is still elected by the people annonentity and is indeed a form of democracy.

Seconded. The very idea is ridiculous.

Farage ain't too keen on Europe so the idea that he was involved in some kind of plan to get us back in the EU is simply bonkers.

This is interesting as well.

Mainstream narratives referring to unelected power-brokers as elite, feeding the idea they are somehow naturally set apart, when in fact, their ambition creating their own self-fulfilling delusions, would eat us all alive. Sickening.

Interesting video. Corbet's Labour lost to Cameron's Tories because of concerted MIC effort to destroy the peacemakers. When people in media quote Churchill's hypocritical 'jaw-jaw better than 'war-war' and then castigate a political leader for seeking resolution through peaceful means, the result is a promissory for money to flow one way, and blood the other.

And here we now are, the country led by individuals who support war and by their rhetoric so far, see 'jaw-jaw' as nothing but foreplay that must be endured in preparation for the main course.

Corbyn lost because he and his Corbynistas were unelectable swivel eyed left wing lunatics.

Policies like keeping our nuclear subs but not arming them with nukes, and so on.

We won't officially go back to the EU but if Starmer and Lammy get their way we will become a Vassel of the EU , ruled by EU laws and regulations but with no voice in their union.

Now that may well be a more realistic scenario....but again, if Starmer alienates all those pro-Brexit traditional Labour supporters - and there's a hell of a lot of them - he could well be in for a very rude awakening indeed.

There'd be a referendum before, of course, and this time the vote would be very different.

The real obstacle in fact is that it's too early for another referendum. They undermine Parliament and should be resorted to very sparingly if at all. Keir Starmer, very wisely, doesn't want to hold one during his term.

But return to the EU is inevitable in the long run, will in fact save British taxpayers money and boost the economy, and will happen in the end no matter how many reactionary 'dead bodies' (not really; imagine dying for Brexit, what a silly cause!) Britain and the EU have to climb over to achieve it.

Happy days ahead, though there's still a dark period of a few years to go through.

The thing is we have been hearing the same to something similar for quite some time.

Better part of the last two decades if we are honest.

And yet there is still austerity all over the island with no end in sight anytime soon.

This it will be better a few years down the line lark is getting rather repetitive if truth be told.

Fact of the matter is that its a bad day when the previous generation was far better off than the current iteration.

Because that's not progress, it's one step forward and two steps back, which equates to stagnation and failure.

People who choose ignorance, choose to suffer.

The world needs Jesus 🙏

Amen brother.

He is coming, and very soon. We are living in the last days, imho.

ON TOPIC: Starmer is a mouthpiece of Davos & the World Economic Forum. He was asked directly whether he would prefer to work with Davos or Westminster (our parliament) & in a heartbeat he stated that he much prefers Davos & the WEF. He claimed that Westminster is just a 'shouting chamber' whereas in the WEF "You can talk with people". He is a traitorous cretin, and I hope to God he gets caught in a scandal & brought down for a rough landing.
