Nothing to do with the content of the post or poster, just a question about the edit tag. Some give the date, time, (location?), while others don't. Is there some glitch that happened to cause that, or is this some sinister plot to overtake mankind?

I think it depends on if you're using a phone, tablet or PC.

I've had that show up if I'm away from home and using my phone, but never on my PC.

The coding is slightly different between tablet, phone, laptop or PC!

Usually ..that type edit...is a correction- redirect.

I believe that is a PHP timezone glitch that I've seen for some members, and for quite a while... MIM always had it, too; no matter if I view their posts from mobile devices or PCs.

I think the problem is in the users account settings and specifically, timezone setting, that becomes corrupt somehow. The fix may be for them to just select a new timezone and hit submit.

I think so too.

Under the Account>Date Display>Format:

If you put a word in there, as opposed to a date format, it will make your reg. date go screwy as well.

Look at my reg. date as an example...

Yes, that's another glitch, Myke. However, with that one, only the member who has that problem sees all the weird registration dates. I see yours correctly in my preferred dd/mm/yyyy format notwithstanding you changed it for yourself.

You join date desplays as the year I claim for my birth. For all of FB dracronian, tryannical rules they have thus far overlooked it on by bio page, even though they took my user name of Nugget away.

They demanded proof that I am and have always been known as Nugget, so I gave it to them in spades-35 years worth. USPS mail, work IC tags, local paper articles-everything they asked for.
Then they demanded a photo ID with Nugget on it and one other 'official' piece, such as a birth certificate. Basturd Suckerberg, anyway.

Only post through mobile networks. Dynamic IPs for security reasons. Not that I'm paranoid or anything.

But never used a non mobile device to post, timezone set to GMT -8. Don't know why mine if different.
