It's just silly that Democrats are still bitching about requiring ID to vote.

You need an ID to operate, buy, or rent a car.
You need ID to open a bank account.
You often need ID just to buy booze or tobacco.
You need ID to rent a hotel room.
You need ID to apply for welfare or food stamps.
You need ID to apply for a job.
You even need ID to adopt a pet.

But it's racist to suggest that ID should be required to vote!
Another great example of Democrat logic.

If they are worried about people not being able to afford the ID....give it to them free of cost. Keep the requirements for evidence of who you are and your citizenship evidence as a requirement to get that free ID too.

Good point! A FREE state I.D. would remove the "cost" objection from those in the pro-cheating crowd of Democrats.

It would create jobs for the secretary of states offices to supply IDs free, those people working would pay in taxes and could be off of any social welfare programs too. It would not cost that much to have the state do that...Oh I forgot, it is the government, they will make it very expensive and complicated. Everyone who uses a credit card should get checked for ID like they used to do twenty years ago, same with writing a check...you needed ID unless the person personally knew you. Just think how much fraud that would eliminate. How about since there is state ID available for everyone over eighteen or even younger, maybe when a credit card is passed over the scanner the person's picture comes up on a display which will cut down credit card and bank card fraud too.

In about every state in the Union if you are on public assistance then a state ID card is free.

Although most people with an EBT card have a driver's license...

Which is also an ID card.

Although it doesn't require proof of citizenship in a lot of cases.

Therein lies the problem...

July 10, 2024 UPDATE (of sorts)

Sentiment/Belief is building in Democrat circles that the election fraud organization will deliver in 2024 like it did in 2020.

It's looking more likely they will keep Joe Biden as their candidate: www.foxnews.com...

Keep Joe in the race! 🤡

Yeah there are still too many states where it's relatively easier to vote.

here's some light 28 page reading on the subject...thankfully my state seems to made it tougher

strength of American democracy.
This report focuses on the eight swing states identified by Sabato’s Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia Center for Politics: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In five of these states, the outcome of the 2020 presidential election was determined by less than two percentage
points, with some of those states seeing even closer margins – Arizona and Georgia were each determined by less than half a percentage point. Changes to how elections are run can have a profound impact when margins are so razor thin.

In North Carolina, voters must adapt to the state moving from having no
ID requirement to the one of strictest mail ballot ID laws in the country
– and a new photo ID requirement for in-person voting as well. Pending
legislation may make it far more likely that mail ballots cast by eligible
voters will be discarded.

● With the lapse of pandemic-era expansions to mail voting and in-person
early voting, New Hampshire is now one of only three states in the
country where the only option for most voters will be to cast a ballot in
person on Election Day in the 2024 presidential election. In addition, new
rules will likely result in the rejection of ballots cast by eligible voters who
register to vote on Election Day.

● Georgia voters must overcome new restrictions on mail voting, including
ID requirements to apply for, and return, mail ballots. Voters will also
encounter new limits on drop boxes.

● Wisconsin voters may face significant new barriers to returning mail
ballots this election – though pending litigation could change the rules
before the 2024 election.

While some states have passed new laws to restrict voting access and weakennonpartisan election administration since 2020, three key swing states have expanded
access:

● Michigan voters will have greater ballot access in 2024 than in any
previous election, including expanded opportunities to vote early inperson and by mail. A new law also gives local election administrators
more time to process mail ballots and ensures that canvass boards
certify election results based on official records of votes cast.

● Nevada lawmakers made permanent the expanded mail voting access
rules put in place during the 2020 election, meaning every registered
voter will receive a ballot in the mail in the 2024 election. New laws also
improve voting access for Indigenous communities and citizens who are
currently incarcerated.

● The 2023 elections will be the first since Pennsylvania implemented
automatic voter registration – meaning voters will be automatically
registered to vote when they obtain, or renew, a driver’s license or ID
card. Notably, however, it may be more challenging for Pennsylvania
voters to cast their ballot by mail, due to the expiration of pandemic-era
expansions.

And seems some States are "solidifying" things .....

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signs controversial election recount, fraud bills into law

HMMMMM

Michigan’s process of handling election recounts and fraud allegations has changed, with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signing two controversial bills into law Monday.

Senate bills 603 and 604 modify the requirements for conducting ballot recounts and prosecuting election-related crimes.

“Today, with the signing of our common-sense recount law reforms, we are strengthening our democracy and ensuring that we reach the most accurate count of the ballots possible during a recount process,” said sponsor state Sen. Stephanie Chang, D-Detroit.

Those folks opposing the bill should be happy to pass it, if for no other reason than to ensure the other party can’t complain the election was rigged due to illegals voting.

The Associated Press reports that a handful of states reviewed their voter rolls between 2016 and 2022 and found that only 50 non-citizens had voted in recent elections. Even if those figures are accurate, it doesn’t invalidate the need to address an obvious weakness in our voting process that could be exploited, in my opinion.

One issue I do see with this bill is the requirement for a Passport to be required to prove citizenship, and only about 50% of us citizens have a passport. I don’t see why a birth certificate or similar couldn’t serve as proof. This could preclude many citizens from voting in this year’s election because they may not be able to get a passport in time. The passport application process can sometimes take several months, and with only a handful of months until the election that will be cutting it close.

Get them in the country, check.

Have them fill out a voter registration form as they apply for social benefits, check.

Keep said form for future use, check.

Get them status to vote, send in registration forms en masse, time is crucial now, check.

Unleash held ballots and distribute them in the most contested states and districts, check.

NY = Never Republican again
CA = Never Republican again
Ill = Never Republican again

And others I'm sure as their voting scheme knocks down each Domino one at a time.

Anywhere where illegals' numbers can justify it, or perhaps not, idk, they'll send ballots there to swing the vote.

Probably not going to be a nice month come November.

I'm still baffled that people seem to accept that a third party, non-governmental business, called "DOMINION" no less, is in control of our election tabulation, ultimately in control of the results and direction of the country.

Call it: "election plunge protection" perhaps. Kinda like the plunge protection team at the NYSM that can turn off the stock market if it gets "too real".🙄

If anything, they are sowing mistrust and making a mockery of our laws and systems further erroding the overall confidence in the social contract, again, probably by design, but I'm just speculating anyway.🤷🏻

It isn't that important. You guys don't care. My point.

Evidence? You're blind. Everything can be said about both parties.

U claim neither...because of your confusion as to right, wrong, which one...both.

If you see a choice? You're lost. I see quite clear up here on my fence.

I am the thorn in both sides. Go ahead now ...justify. There isn't any...

Thats why both are...lost. Even the Conservs n Libs are fairing better.

Face it. America is broken and neither party has any super glue ....

Yeah , but it is a Good Talking Point to Voters Right before an Election . If It dosen't Pass in the Senate because the Dems Vote NO , or they go for the Visual that they Really Care about the Voter ID Law and Vote Yes knowing Biden Already mentioned he would Veto it so it Makes Joe Look Bad and Not them .

So Repiblicans get elected and hold all the power; do you really think they'll address this issue again when it has a chance of passing?

Going by past history I'd have to say no. When they have total control to change the status quo they ignore the most critical issues we face and continue to kick the can down the road.

They could have passed legislation to solve border control once and for all but were too busy blocking everything Trump tried to do.
