Gawd, how I can't stand this analogy! What was the population of the this country, or North America, or even the World then? Compare that to now.

Millions of (now) Americans came to the United States in the 1800's and 1900's too, and they went through a LEGAL immigration process at places like Ellis Island and others.

Hell, why not declare all Americans illegals, and deport them all back to where their ancestors came from...like YOUR country? People who throw out this tired line think it's cute...right up until there's 50 million immigrants pounding on THEIR door!
