You must roast the coffee fresh.

We are down to thirteen cans of coffee in stock. Not because I am being prepared for a disaster, because they are talking of replacing coffee with a coffee like product made of chickpeas that have been fermented with genetically engineered microbes that make it taste sort of like coffee. I guess it takes a lot of water to make a pound of coffee beans so the cost of real coffee is going to go way up and the fake coffee will be about the same price we are paying now.

Forgot to add, that fake coffee already exists and is approved by the FDA. They sell it in the USA.

Ummm...you can only proof it...

After you've first fermented...then distilled it...

We had only had some really old instant coffee that had mostly congealed into lumps, so, with nothing else to hand, on a cold morning I braved it, dissolving the lumps in boiling water and stirring until it all appeared to be dissolved.

I wished it was going to be OK to drink, but it was rather foul, and I tipped it out.

So, not that majick.

Also, the bot that posted the random nonsense, appears to be broken.
