"I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died and gave that right to me. And I'll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today. For there ain't no doubt I love the USA."

We can bicker all we want inside our nation, but in the end, we have to come together or we will cease to be a Republic that stands for freedom and Justice for all!

Right now the way the Progs have taken over our Gov from within, we need a miracle. I am praying God removes the power from the people who are evil in high places. I don't want them dead. I want them removed from power.

Happy 4th to all of you who are an American no matter your politics.
God bless us all!

I just want us all to feel good about living freely so we make decisions based on that important gift we were given.

No need for stars or flags. I hope people will just get the come together part. We are setup so people could have a fighting chance when Tyranny comes knocking on our nation.

I’m still waiting on the United States part again. It’s still the Untied States of America. For hoping we can be United again, it’ll take time though. There’s still a lot people have to learn and come to terms about. And education has to become just that again, not funneling children through Indoctrination Stations. Eat, drink and be merry on the 4th. Let’s hope it can be actual Independence Day again soon.

Happy 4th to everyone!

A couple favorites:

Lookin' hard for a drive-in, searching for a corner cafe
Where hamburgers sizzle on a open grill night and day
Yeah, and the jukebox jumping with records like in the U.S.A

When the sun come shining, and I was strolling
The wheat fields waving, and the dust clouds rolling
A voice was chanting as the fog was lifting
This land was made for you and me

I love that.

The education is the key. I was from a time when I was allowed to be me despite a form of ADD or ADHD due to some trauma from my step father I realize now. I wanted to please so a just absorbed and regurgitated the information so fast I was getting teachers motivated to find me something else for me to do at the same time others were catching up to me. I was sent to a psychologist who told them get out of my way, I am fine. My dad remembered that till they day he died.

point being the Education was smart to what they had in certain children or not back then and nurtured me. Now I am a scientist for a living, and as I am set to retire, I hope I can infect the ones I leave behind with the wonder of actual science and learning new things that connect dots to bigger things. It is like a fetish for certain music to like the discovery of new things for me.

As we gather around the table to celebrate the 4th of July, let us not forget the true meaning behind this day. It is a celebration of freedom, of independence, and of the sacrifices made by those who have come before us.

But as we wave our flags and enjoy the fireworks, let us also remember the values that our founding fathers fought and died for: freedom, equality, and justice. That our freedom is not just a gift, but a responsibility. A responsibility to stand together as one nation, despite our differences.

In this divided era, it's easy to get caught up in our own ideologies and forget that we are all Americans. We are all united under the same flag, the same constitution, and the same ideals.

So as we celebrate our independence today, let us also celebrate our diversity. Let us celebrate the fact that we are a nation of immigrants, of dreamers, of innovators, and of optimists. Let us celebrate the fact that we are a nation of people who have come together from all corners of the world to build something greater than the sum of its parts.

So let us stand together today, as one nation under God, indivisible. Let us recognize that our differences are what make us strong, and that together, we can overcome even the greatest challenges.

Happy 4th of July to all Americans. May we continue to strive for a brighter future, where freedom rings out loud and proud for all.

Today, I will have close friends of Charlie with me here to Celebrate the 4th. I grew up in the Nashville area. This one would prefer his privacy but he has accidently mowed the crops down of the Charlie band members weed farm in a nearby county to Charlie. Back when Charlie was stoned in the morning and drunk in the afternoon. He found God, thank God and bless him too. I truly love his music too.

man that's cool, i've always loved his tunes since i was about 11 or 12, first one was i heard was The South Gonna Do It Again.

Elvin Bishop sittin' on a bale of hay
He ain't good lookin', but he sure can play
And there's ZZ Top and you can't forget
That old brother Willie's gettin' soakin' wet
And all the good people down in Tennessee
Are diggin' Barefoot Jerry and C.D.B

[Chorus]
So gather 'round, gather 'round chillun'
Get down, well just get down chillun'
Get loud, well you can be loud and be proud
Well you can be proud, hear now
Be proud you're a rebel
'Cause the South's gonna do it again and again

The commies claimed Woody's song was an homage to communism and\or socialism, which is nonsense. I heard a very old interview with Guthrie where he told the story behind "This Land Is Your Land". He said that everywhere he went, he kept hearing Irving Berlin's "God Bless America", and he got tired of it. He said he felt a disingenuous 'false patriotism'.

He said the USA was great, and he loved the incredible landscapes he saw in his travels. But he also saw the dark side... the political corruption and the injustice. He said the bottom line was that the song was a tribute to the common people, and to the USA. It's a great song.

I know where Grinders switch is too. Hickman County SW of Nashville. West of Franklin. I have covered that song in a band full of Blue Grass players who wanted something I could sing to I knew that they did too.
I was doing that for work actually and that is a cool story.

Many of us started out having our own ideas about what America is. Here on ATS I see a few people who don't get it and ton of you who do see that our freedoms are on a short list to be forgotten by the DS elites.

Nobody seems to care about them. Great thing to remind us about the little people in our lives who are struggling. Some of us here need to walk a mile in their shoes.
