I just rewatched this song by alphaville, one line that speaks in this song is praising our leaders expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

The world has no one of substance as a true leader any more.

The bomb has been dropped figuratively the whole world is in turmoil financially.

No leader has the balls to declare a world wide recession.

Governments are pissing money up against a wall.

Cost of living is going nuts, rents are skyrocketing.

Our stupid state government are 180 billion in debt, a major railway project is incomplete and gas run out of money to finish it.
