Those large numbers are hard to actually comprehend sometimes.
Here’s a little thing I use myself to put them in perspective.

The difference between one million and one billion…
One million seconds is 11 days
One billion seconds is 33 years.

If you spent one million dollars per day, every single day, since the year 0, you wouldn’t even have spent one trillion dollars by now.
It would only be about 740 billion.
Not even one trillion.
We owe 34 trillion.
