The former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the chief of staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov join Valdimir Putin in having warrants issued for their arrest in connection to the war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated in Ukraine. As the article states, there is very little chance they will be arrested any time soon as Russia doesn't extradite their nationals to the ICC, but they will also, like their boss, not be able to travel outside of their country, or they risk immediate arrests and extraditions.

This is the very same reason Putin was not able to travel to the first BRICS meeting down in South Africa, when SAR had to disinvite him or risk an international spectacle.

There is no immediate likelihood of either former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu or chief of staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov being detained to face charges of war crimes and the crime against humanity of inhumane acts. Russia isn’t a member of the court, doesn’t recognize its jurisdiction and refuses to hand over suspects.
...

Judges who approved the prosecutors’ request for warrants said the suspects are charged with inhumane acts because there is evidence they “intentionally caused great suffering or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health” of civilians in Ukraine.

Under the leadership of Shoigu and Gerasimov, the Russian military has launched waves of missile and drone strikes that have killed thousands and damaged the country’s energy system and other vital infrastructure.

It's reasonable to assume that any of their assets, or funds, held in the West will also be frozen, and potentially used to pay reparations to Ukraine.

From now on, they can go vacation in North Korea.

Washington DC is full of war criminals and other crimes against humanity. They can start with Lindsy Graham and ????
I have had a few beers and couldn't remember her name so I asked AI.

Question: what's the woman's name that instigated the coup in ukraine?

Answer: According to www.iAsk.ai Ask Ai Questions Search Engine:
Victoria Nuland was the woman involved in the leaked phone conversation discussing the political situation in Ukraine and the potential composition of the government following the ousting of President Viktor Yanukovych during the Revolution of Dignity in February 2014.

Yea, that bitch.

Is the ICC a real thing? Does anyone care what they do? I'm serious here. I am not trying to diss the ICC on some political rant. Seems to me that if they don't like someone they issue a warrant, but it doesn't have much clout. Like the EU has finally figured out that Russia is not going to play fair. The US is saying yeah, we told you so, so it is dump on Russia day. So Russia will just tell the ICC to go pound sand. Meanwhile a whole lot of people, including a lot of Russians, are being killed. So by the end of all this, if Russia manages to refrain from throwing around some nukes, we'll have a much-diminished Russia, a Ukraine that needs to be rebuilt on the same scale as Germany after WWII, and nothing much accomplished.

Seems a sad business all the way around.

Ok I'll be serious too, since you are so serious.

If you had read the original post in its entirety you'd already be reminded that SAR had to disnivite Putin from coming to the BRICS meeting, because he would have had to have been arrested and delivered to The Hague.

That right there should be enough evidence to you that the ICC is indeed real, and that people with arrest warrants are afraid to travel, lest they be arrested.
