Doug Burgum.

Hes definitely the favorite right now imo if he isn't the VP choice I'd be very surprised

He's my preference, and no one else is even close. I'll be surprised if he gets tapped, because it makes too much sense.

🚨 Alert

VANCE - RUBIO - BURGUM would NOT be MAGA-AF Vice-Presidents...

A couple of quick hot points from the 2024 presidential race and Trump side of the equation.

♦ First, we can ignore all of the typical pre-debate banter..

♦ Second, the DC system that created Mike Pence as the best option for Trump 2016 is the same system pushing Vance, Rubio and Burgum for 2024. The intent with Pence 2016 is the same intent with Vance, Rubio and Burgum ’24. I’m cautiously optimistic President Trump is well aware of this.

Bergum has a track record of good business, and conservative values. This choice isn't so much how good a pick would be for Trump, but more of a "who can pick up the torch and run with it in 2028." MAGA-AF has got it's stronghold on today's conservatives. It's the right message and they all know it. So while there are plenty of scummy folks on both sides, there are also some good ones. So far, Bergum has not showed his scummy side that I have seen. Pence was measured, but obviously there as a gatekeeper, I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

Well, unfortunately, as much as we might want to believe being able to assume command and lead the nation is the primary criteria, it really isn't at this point. At this point the main criteria for a VP pick is who will pick up the most votes (or cost the least votes). Sadly, the VP pick is as much about identity politics as it is about capability.

Since I am trying to be positive and optimistic it seems like Trump is trying to pick a VP who has the same type backround and portfolio he has. Burgum has enough money so as not to be bullied or bribed and the business knowledge and savvy to manage our country using business principles and leveraging our economic/market prowess globally. Trump can teach him the ropes. Trump learned his lesson with soy boy Pence.
That is my best optimistic hope for Trump's VP.
I don't like Vance at all. I do like Rubio and Byran Donaldson but they are not Trump successor material in my humble opinion. Burgum has the best chance, hopefully he is a real S.O.B. like Trump because that is important. No f'n nice guys, we want our president tough as nails because the msm, democrats and every parasite on the planet will try to destroy him.

Certainly not in recent memory, no, but I don't think identity politics was as big of an issue in the pre-JFK days as it is post JFK.

Putting pieces of info together, we arrive at:

Candidate Trump's VP candidate will be in the small audience on 6/27/24 debate night. To keep CNN/Tapper from announcing who he/she is, candidate Trump will make the announcement before the debate begins...before his running mate arrives to the event.

At first I thought his pick might be a woman.
There really aren’t any really good female picks with good name recognition.
Vivek seems like he’d be a good VP.
He doesn’t take any crap and he’s a fighter.
I don’t trust him 100% though.
I trusted Pence and we all know how that turned out, so what do I know.

Burgum. The best choice. You can fill your cabinet with those who want change.

I love Carson. However, he does not want it. He needs another cabinet post so he can make change.

You have to think about what a VP is about.

Scott? He can run in 2028 with Rubio or Vivek..or Burgum.

I hope he does not pander

Trump is going to control the narrative, announcing his VP just ahead of the debate. I like it We all know Trump is not just debating Biden, he is also debating the msm. This is an example of Trump taking it to another level, the msm will be stuck having to cover both the debate ass whoopin' and Burgum, another billionaire white guy. Oh the horror!!

For now, yes. Maybe cabinet positions if they are in strong republican districts since Trump needs a majority in congress...maybe they stay put. Polics, a complicated business.

Not at all. I believe that is disinfo against Burgum. Look him up and look into him. He does not need the money just like Trump.

If anything, this give support to who he is going to chose.

I’m hoping Byron Donald’s. Then take over the reins after. Which would make him truly the first black president.

Two old white guys most likely would not help no matter how good the pick is. Look at Reagan, he picked a young guy...wasn't very smart, but he was young.
