This is an interesting development!

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has agreed to drop a lawsuit against former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and his ex-lawyer Robert Costello. The lawsuit accused them of “total annihilation” of his digital privacy and claimed they manipulated data allegedly taken from his laptop, court records show.

A stipulation of voluntary dismissal was filed on June 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The dismissal states that it has been agreed by and between all three parties and their respective legal teams that the lawsuit against Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Costello will be voluntarily dismissed without prejudice.

However, the dismissal must still be reviewed by U.S. District Judge Jessica Clarke, according to court records.

Being dismissed without prejudice means the charges can be refiled at a later date.
What stood out to me is Possibly the 'manipulation of data' can't be proven, which would not be good in an election year-despite the trail being heard by New York judge Jessica Clarke.

Going after Joe's misdeeds didn't work, since he's too old and confused to be held accountable for his illegal procurement of classified documents, so the GOP is going after Hunter. Maybe they DO have a game plan afterall?

I think it was a wise move by the Hunter/Joe handlers to have them drop the lawsuit.

As I understand it (I had to work, and didn't watch the trial), Hunter's Laptop was a key piece of evidence and was authenticated by the FBI on the stand.

The lawsuit suggested in the OP, had little to no chance of success with this additional evidence and court record.

It probably was a good business move. Giuliani has something like 10 lawsuits active against him all over the country. The probability of Hunter Biden recovering anything worthwhile monetarily out of a civil lawsuit against him after all those other claims get settled is probably somewhere between slim and none. Like trying to get blood out of a turnip.

I guessed you missed the point that Hunter had to drop the lawsuit because it has been proven that the contents of the laptop are real.

Which means that you are going to bat for a crackhead who broke a lot of laws.

Is "hero Mayor" Rudy Giuliani now being blamed for allowing the Sept 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City?

The establishment turned on Donald Trump the same way, after he vowed to expose high-level government criminals.

Funny how Trump has single handedly exposed more government corruption than anyone before him just by being hated. They’ve all willingly exposed themselves by their actions to get Trump. Trump didn’t have to lift a finger. We at the least owe him for that.

The way I see it , Mr. Trump Leads by Example and it is NOW Up to the American People who STILL Love their Country to Follow Up on that and DEMAND Our Government be Found Accountable for their Criminal Actions . A Represenative Government is Supposed to Represent WE THE PEOPLE and Not Themselves !!!!

The absolute front of these guys asking that both sides pay their own legal fees.
The judge should be demanding for all legal fees to be paid by the people who brought this case and holding people in contempt.

Couldn't agree more.

Although, ok...both sides pay their own legal fees.

And then Rudy can turn around and sue Hunter, and other people/corporations, for slander. At this point in time, hunter knew what was being reported . He lied to save face.
