The Killing of America 1981 - Finally a Proper HD Version - Still very relevant today

Not seen this superb film for many years, but came across this HD upscaled version on YT. Its still a very powerful video even for someone from the UK.

The segment of video set to the Buffalo Springfield song 'For What its Worth' which contains one of my all time favourite lines -
“Paranoia strikes deep. Into your life it will creep. It starts when you’re always afraid. Step out of line, the man comes and takes you away…”

Its till extremely powerful but be warned it has some graphic images and film and its lost none of its power and is just as relevant today as it was in 1970.

Is there a motive or point to be made by bring this morbidity here other than to just promote it? That being the case, I don't see any purpose in your posting this.

If you are trying to make some kind of statement with this video, then spell it out.

What's the point other than the obvious faces of death shock value? The world is a violent place?

I used to watch stuff like this, I don't anymore. It never takes me to a good place. I am aware of what goes on in the world. One reason I am so anti war now.

a reply to: charlest2 I think you have completely missed the point of my post. I was around 24 months old when it came out so no I am not promoting it in any way as its more than 40 years old and does not need me or anyone else promoting it.
I came across this high quality version on YT the other day and thought it was well worth sharing as its an incredibly powerful showing some very famous incidents.
I live in the UK where private gun ownership is illegal except in special cases so I am very much on the outside looking in.
Granted we have our problems in the UK but I am not trying make any statement so please do not insinuate that I am.
I could be like you and just sweep bad things under the carpet but thats not how I am.

I will finish by apologising if I offended you or anyone else - that was not my intention.

I wasn't offended in any way. I just could not see the reason for posting a morbid video about what most of us here already realize. We should all know by now we are a sick society and getting sicker by the day.
