Theyyy'rrrreee BAAAAACK!

Anyone else having a bunch of ATS weirdness going on the last hour or so?? Delays, stuff not posting, pages not coming up, timeouts, etc.

(and every other thing I've got running is running perfect, including my connections).

Should we restart the doomsday clock?

Nope. Just the usual crap with the instant 10 stars, within about 2 minutes, on certain posts on certain threads.

Other than the stars weirdness that has been happening for 2-3 weeks ... nope.

You know, after you mentioned this the other day, I did notice this. Happened on a post I was replying to. The OP was about 2 minutes old, and I replied about 30 seconds after that and 'thought' I was the first reply. After I hit the "Reply" button, when the page refreshed, there were about 5 replies above mine, and the OP and several of the replies above me had like 8-9 stars. I attributed it to a delayed post, but it was definitely noticeable.

I know there are some delays going on, but I think some of these have been around for a while. Like, I've made a post and it doesn't show up in "New" or "Recent" for sometimes upwards of 30-40 minutes. Not a big deal, just odd, and I only noticed it because I wasn't sure if it posted or not so that's why I was looking. It was showing up in "My ATS" (but even that took a couple minutes) and it was showing up in my post history (immediately).

Oh well, not a big deal really, any of it.

Every connection goes both ways, i often wonder if sudden localized lags indicate a certain amount of intrusion...

Welp...maybe it's just on my end, but not having any other weirdness elsewhere. Could be a satellite transition.

But, there are certain times that it takes too long to load pages.
And the day is still young

Yesterday when I posted the “done” button on my iPhone wasn’t there and I couldn’t minimize the page to go to another to copy text or a link.

It’s ok today though. This may have been a phone issue rather than ATS but I’ll put it out there.

ETA: it only happened when on ATS not other sites.

Not here...

Well, I've been offline for the past two hours cause we had to run into town for groceries so I can't comment on whats happening here, but I've been doing some recon on Twitter/X lately and have notioced the bots descend almost instantly on certain contributions I make.

Maybe it's bots, AI or aliens working at lightspeed? You never know these days and stranger things have happened.

It is with A.I. they are fast now.

On mobile, this site kicks me out of my keyboard every 10 or 15 seconds no matter if I'm typing or not.

Yeah. Weird is an understatement.

(While typing this it occured 5 times.)
