I was just commenting in the recently closed post "66 Percent Of All Single Americans Have Never Been Married" but the thread was closed "due to
being posted earlier".
Fair enough. However, the original was nuked and the duplicate, offending thread was closed. Which effectively zaps that topic off the feed.
Is that how the new ATS is rolling?
Before you close this one too with the usual excuse that these actions are between the staff and poster, that excuse here doesn't apply.
So a valid question would be, why were both posts nuked? Why did the original post get nuked and the other closed? Shouldn't the original post be
spared? Isn't that the point??
Perhaps it was a mistake. It happens. I just find it strange that the topic was completely annihilated in the process.
