The bill is being respectful and retroactively addresses the family who lost a member due to an illegal alien in 2015. Many many more deaths of Americans have occurred from illegal aliens who have come into the country due to Biden opening the borders, than came into the country when Trump was president.

Biden invited them in. Big difference. Biden is an accessory to murders, and will pay for it... guaranteed.

José Inez García Zárate, who fired the shot that killed Steinle, was acquitted of murder by a jury in San Francisco, a sanctuary city, and a California appeals court overturned a subsequent conviction for possessing a firearm as a felon.

Remember they refuse to work with ICE, so who was in charge doesnt matter since local democrats sabotaged the feds attempts to enforce the law.

Just own it.

It is always a vote getting pick and a cosmetic pick, but I would like it to be a pick that isn't a Chuck Lidell, Frank Sinatra, Joel Osteen hybrid.

Watching Trump get booed and heckled was funny. They weren't buying his B.S. But the idea of him going there was pretty disturbing in the first place when you think deeper on the topic.

My boyfriend was up last night and couldn't sleep because he was f-ing FURIOUS when he found out about Trump showing up begging for the Libertarian vote. He couldn't stop swearing. He's been a staunch Libertarian since he could vote. He even voted for Trump in 2020 mainly because he hates Kamala Harris. But never again, and now he hates Trump as much as Harris. He eventually calmed down when he looked more into it and realized trump wasn't realistically in play. But I understand how he felt. Id be livid too.

For anyone who doesn’t know Ross Ulbricht made over 80 million dollars in bitcoin by creating and running a dark web drug market, he’s essentially a drug lord. I personally agree with the guys philosophy of how an adult should have the freedom to make there own choices on what they purchase and consume… but I don’t think for one second Trump believes that or will even actually pardon him.

I do find it comical that we have a self proclaimed "true" libertarian posting here trying to say Trump is what Liberations want.

It is almost as funny as the thread where we have some MAGA folks claiming more Democrats will be voting for Trump than Republicans voting for Biden.

I also do not believe Trump will free Ross Ulbricht, just more B's he is saying in hopes of winning over voters. I do think Ross's sentence is extremely harsh. The 'Gentlemen of Cali' the Orejuela brothers who ordered acts of terrorism when they were drug lords got less time...also Ross did not receive a fair trial with the alleged 'hit man' scheme being at best entrapment by the FBI if not a complete fabrication.

Sure. Of course he's going to try to sell himself. That's the point of being there. BUT ... what I said was that he presented his position on issues even though he knew they didn't line up with the Libertarian position. He didn't change his positions just to try to pander for votes. He said 'this is where i am on these issues .. we don't agree on everything but we do agree on some things .. let's come together'. Biden would have just said whatever the audience wanted to hear and not told the truth about where he stood on the issues. THAT is what I'm talking about.

100% agreement. He got railroaded big time. And no way Trump would release the dude, not when he had the chance.

I've met a number of people who claim to be Libertarian but really dont understand what that means. For alot of people, they think its just a more extreme conservative position or GOP Jr. but its not. Thats not been my experience.

Yeah ... I never heard of him and just spent some time researching his position on things and the history. I'm not happy with it either. I was planning on voting Libertarian, but now I don't think so.

His reaction was very understandable. Trump wasnt there to "court" the vote so much as try to sell himself as the nominee for the party, which is ridiculous. Hes already the nominee of another party. Trump has some of the most anti-Libertarian values in existence, so its an insult to people who hold those values to have this clown show up trying to pretend hes one of them.

Also, Biden is not seriously courting the Libertarians in any meaningful way, because Libertarians and Democrats getalong even less than Libertarians and Republicans, and Libertarians tend to draw more from the right than they do the left. If Biden is courting any third party voters, it will be Green Party or RFK Jr voters who would be more likely to pull from Biden.
