Certain behaviors stand out.

My kid has been in counseling for autism since age 4

Today he has 3 different counselors.

He perceives things differently. He is very high functioning, but his interpretation of events is very self focused. It’s all about him and how it affects him.

He has a great need to be listened to, to be heard.

Some say autism should have its own sexual category. They do tend to be very sexualized, and open to exploring sexuality.

I’m not going to go more into that, but it’s definitely more than the average kid.

If I found something questionable I’d get my kid into counseling. It may not be as it appears.
