The State Department during the administration of President Barack Obama allegedly worked to hinder the FBI’s efforts to arrest individuals under investigation for financially assisting Iran’s nuclear weapons program, according to whistleblower accounts.
The allegations were made public Wednesday when Republican Sens. Charles Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin published a letter they had sent Tuesday to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Grassley and Johnson complained to Blinken that then-Secretary of State John Kerry, according to whistleblower disclosures, “actively interfered” with the FBI when the bureau was “executing arrest warrants on individuals in the U.S.”
The individuals in question, according to the letter, were suspected of “illegally supporting Iranian efforts, including financial efforts, to develop weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and its ballistic missile program.”
The senators further alleged that then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and then-FBI Director James Comey did not satisfactorily act to thwart Kerry’s “obstructive efforts against law enforcement.”

Kerry committed Treason with a capital T.
I wonder what association he has with the Iranian spies Obama and Biden appointed to the DOJ and DOD?

Makes one wonder what Kerry was up to during Trumps term. He was dealing with Iran back then and odds are against our countries interests. So we have Iranian spies in sensitive positions that were only recently uncovered, the State dept preventing the arrest of Iranians here in the US (of which at least 1 was a known terrorist), and both Obama and Biden showering the Iranian mullahs with money.
Iran’s foreign minister claimed in a leaked recording that former US Secretary of State John Kerry told him about over 200 covert Israeli attacks on Iranian interests in Syria during former President Donald Trump’s administration.
Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said in the leaked recording obtained by the New York Times and Iran International that the Revolutionary Guard Corps and the country’s supreme leader kept him in the dark about government negotiations and military operations, and that he was receiving intel from Kerry.
“It was former US Foreign Secretary John Kerry who told me Israel had launched more than 200 attacks on Iranian forces in Syria,” he said.
Zarif made the comments in a March interview with an Iranian journalist that wasn’t supposed to be released until August, when President Hassan Rouhani leaves office.

President Trump knew a lot of what was going on, but the people in government who could "do something" to end some of the corruption, were they themselves corrupt.
For example: President Trump would give Attorney General Barr an order to reveal something Trump had been briefed on...to declassify it. But Barr wouldn't do it. The "Deep State" protects each other.
Our politicians are no better but I keep reading these posts. Allegations that are really tragic. Does any one or one group stand up and do anything about it.

So Trump refused to do his job after failing to properly delegate a responsibility that falls on his him ultimately?
Just for future notes, maybe not use that argument going forward.
First off, Obama-Biden sent $400 million IN CASH to Iran's radical leaders.

Another example of how crooked Trump is. The Attorney General doesn't have the power to declassify anything that he didn't have the Original Classification Authority for in the first place. If Trump actually wanted something declassified that the POTUS had the legitimate power to declassify, all he had to do is write out an executive decision memo directing that it be done and turn it over to the White House legal office. He knows how to do it because he did it during his last few days in office with the Crossfire Hurricane file. Barr was refusing to follow illegal orders.
This is classic crime boss behavior on Trump's part--try to get your underlings to do the illegal stuff for you so that your fingerprints aren't all over it.

Don't worry, this time Trump will clean house before he gets flucked by Obama plants.

And knowing Trump had the ability to declass anything, it kind of makes your point.....pointless.

Heard that about 8 years ago. Still waiting and with the caliber of people around him I don't see your vision coming true. I do see a bunch of extremely salty tears coming soon.
