Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Who loves Krispy Kreme Doughnuts?!!?!? I just cant live if I dont have at least one or two everyday.

OPMFG Everyone loves Krispy Kremes.

Chris Rock does a good bit about them. "Krispy Kremes are so good that if they told you they put crack in 'em, you'd believe it!" And so on.

They really are amazing. And it always surprises me how cheap they are.

I hate Doughnuts , but honestly i love Krispy Kremes.

oh god. they opened a crispy cream on the way to work a few years ago. every day for a few weeks there was a huge line up to get in. now my friend lived in the states for several years on and off, he had had them before and didn't like them. but seeing as he had never had a fresh one he decided to try one. we went in after the huge lines had died off. they served a free one to us and he bought a second plain, i bought a apple filled. in all honesty they were the worst donuts i have ever tasted.

then several months later they started to sell them at my store. a rep came arround offering everone one, he seemed rather shocked when i said no way. we had them at our morning meetings for awile and it seems that a fair number of our staff did not seem to like them either, there were always plenty left. normaly when they had normal donuts you were lucky to get one and we ordered a lot more of them, then the crappy creams they were serving. it seems to me that you either love them or want to puke after eating those sicky sweet pieces of sugared flower.

if you want a real donut i sudgest a tim hortons donut, st timms is about the best there is. we also have several other chains around that have good donuts. even all the small private owned shops have better donuts. but like i said crappy creams are the worst i have ever had, mabe you need some reputable donut shops to learn what a real donut is.

I love krispy kremes.

I find it funny how whenever a K.K. opens up in a town with dunkin doughnuts, the d.d. always goes out of business.

I haven't done this in awhile, but before I got married, a war buddy and I used to go to stop at Krispy Kreme around 2 am when they were running HOT FRESH-MADE glazes.....

We would get a box or two each, depending on what cash we had left after drinking.

Man, them things are awesome when the are just made.

Got to get my wife into this.

weird most people i have met can't stand krispy kream donuts. i asure you i am definately not a vegitarian. can't ever recall ever trying a dunkin donut. so i can't make a judgement on them. strange considering there are so many donut shops that as the saying goes,it seems like there's one on every corner. the only thing we seem to have more of is variety stores:shk:, i don't know how they manage to stay in business considering there are four of them within a five minute walk.

They don't have Krispy Kreme over here.

I don't really think of them as being hyped.
It's all "word of mouth" if you know what I mean.

I can't recall seeing any commercials around here..

I have never seen a krispy kreme advertisement in my life actually. I learned of this wonder little donut shop was from grade school. The teacher decided to treat our class for winning some contest with Krispy Kreme donuts. That was when I had my very first Krispy Kreme Donut

I think they are OK, but not worth all the hype that everyone gives them. If buying doughnuts, I prefer the variety provided at a DD, although I've never been in a KK (ha!) shop, do they have more than just plain?

I played soccer in a local league for years, and every week one family would bring 'snack.' Everynow and then someone would bring Krispy Kremes. It was the best treat ever.

I always volunteered to take home the leftovers.

So Sick of KK Doughnuts!

My best friend's wife is a store manager. I get cases of them for free.
Eat a few thousand and you'd be sick of them too.

(I still love them though)

Don't you people know that doughnuts make you fat? You should eat fruit, it taste much better.

I always imagined Heaven as all the chocolate glazed Krispy Kreme donuts you could eat, hehe....

Once, when in college and my car was out, I rode my bike about 5 miles just to get to a Hess mart, hehe....to get those damn things.

In High School, the band used to sell them for 25 cents a piece. My day would start with a can of Jolt cola and 3 Krispy Kremes.... WEE!!!

Now, I can barely eat two before going into sugar shock (and I'm not even diabetic :lol, but damn they are still good, hehe.....

But they are sickeningly sweet. I'm more of a farm-stand-apple-orchard cider doughnut guy. THOSE ARE AWESOME....I have to force myself NOT to eat a dozen or two.
Those & fresh beignets.....mmmmmmm!
