Along with Netanyahu's problems with Yoav Gallant comes a threat to resign from the war cabinet from Benny Gantz if Netanyahu doesn't adopt his plans for Gaza after the war , Gantz has given Netanyahu until June 8th to adopt his 6 point plan for a post-war vision for Gaza.

"If you put the national over personal, you will find in us partners in the struggle," he said. "But if you choose the path of fanatics and lead the entire nation to the abyss, we will be forced to quit the government."

In a televised address on Saturday, Mr Gantz told Mr Netanyahu that the "people of Israel are watching you".

"You must choose between Zionism and cynicism, between unity and factions, between responsibility and lawlessness, between victory and disaster," he said.

Also among the six strategic goals he set out were the return of all Israeli and foreign hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza and the return of displaced Palestinian civilians to northern Gaza by 1 September.

He also said Israel should continue to seek the normalisation of relations with Saudi Arabia as part of a "comprehensive process to create an alliance with the free world and the West against Iran and its allies".

Responding to the speech, Mr Netanyahu said that to meet Mr Gantz's demands would lead to "the end of the war and a defeat for Israel, the abandoning of most of the hostages, leaving Hamas intact and the establishment of a Palestinian state".

Because a 2 State solution has never been an option under Netanyahu's leadership and all of the talk of such was merely subterfuge on his part which is just confirmation of what we already suspected.

Well then Benny Gantz is most definitely anti-Semitic.

Did I do that right?

I'll wait and see if the local zionist stooges here confirm or deny my worship at the alter of the apartheid state of Israel is valid or not...

Almost perfect , you just forgot to call me Anti-Semitic for posting about the Anti-Semite.

Since this doesn't really affect me, I think I'd like to see you all get exactly what you want, and then smile when history repeats itself, Israel is attacked again, and you cheer for the attackers. At least then you will be forced to grasp your position rather than pretend it's something it isn't.

Give GAZA back, no intervention, let HAMAS regroup, rearm, and re-attack. Then cry buckets about the potential genocide if anyone fights back. The sauce you drink is weak.

Whatā€™s a Semite?
a member of any of various ancient and modern peoples originating in southwestern Asia, including the Akkadians, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs. link So being ā€œantisemiticā€ is also being against Arabs who are mostly Muslims, like the people of Gaza.

How many times must it be repeated that a Semite or Anti-Semite does not mean Jewish only?
How many times?
This is directed at the flood of people that throw this term about constantly without knowing its meaning, just

Granted!

He is too an antisemite just as everyone else who criticises the Israeli Government and Zionism.

Not the only antisemite though.

Another Jewish person, this time a British Jewish historian was detained and questioned by the FBI for not having the right views.

Do you ever do any actual research of what youā€™re posting about?

Gaza has refused a two state solution every time itā€™s been offered šŸ™„
From the river to the sea, right? Until every Jew is wiped off the planet, nothing else will ever please these clowns.

Anything about this seem off to you???

What are the other 6 points; because this one seems to be what Israel has been saying since the start of the war.

A lot of Israeli booms can drop between now and September 1.

I don't see the daylight here.

[Gallant] and Mr Gantz say that maintaining military control in Gaza would increase Israel's security risks, while others, including far-right members of Mr Netanyahu's ruling coalition in the government, believe continued control is necessary in order to defeat Hamas.

Mr Gallant said he had raised the issue repeatedly for months but had received no response.

Sounds like a policy dispute rather than an insurrection.

What makes now different than the months of raising the issue with getting no traction?

That he is threatening to resign unless his plan is implemented by a certain date in the absence of any coherent plan from the Prime Minister makes it different , Netanyahu has lost the confidence of the people of Israel and now his fragile government of all the nutters is starting to fragment , it's not the end of the beginning it's the beginning of the end for Natanyahu and that will make a lot of people happy.

Since that headline appeared two or three days ago i am trying to understand something. Do the Hamas keep the bodies of the sadly deceased hostages somewhere so that the IDF has enough evidence to find and present it to the world and make the Hamas look even worse? How do such bodies look after months, how are soldiers able to identify them after that time? I know, DNA and stuff done in labs, but do they take every body they think could be a hostage and bring it to a lab, how do they decide to take which body and which not? I mean, it must be full of dead palestinian bodies of every age and gender meanwhile there.

I am just asking because, as we all know, in a war war the truth dies first. The Netanjahu-regime could fake everything, even DNA evidence, they could even lie and tell the relatives of hostages (and the world via MSM headlines) that they found their loved ones dead so the pressure from this side stops a bit. And at the same time it makes the Hamas look even worse. Unthinkable? I donĀ“t think so, unfortunately.

In a war always both sides are liars to reach their goals!

Isn't that what they want? The destruction of Israel. Oh no, they don't hate the joos, they're fine with the joos, some of their best friends are joos.

They just don't think Israel should exist.

It reminds me of the racist folks that say that blacks should go back to Africa.

Iā€™m sure the argument there is when to end this.

One of the problems Iā€™d imagine is you canā€™t really fully wipe out Hamas, especially if the leadership is seeking shelter abroad.

But Iā€™d imagine some like Gantz see it in Israelā€™s best interest to have a plan on how to wrap this up and find what happens after.

No matter what, thereā€™s going to be resentment on both sides after this conflict. America has found the best way to normalize relations after a war is make sure there is some kind of stability there when we leave (hasnā€™t worked in Islamic extremism nations though).

Truth be told there probably is no solution.

I only skimmed the article so I can't be sure, but I found nothing saying this dude is Jewish

Can you provide a quote from the article you linked to where it says that guy is Jewish?

Until then I'm going to assume the author refers to him as Israeli in attempt to confuse the reader into think they are talking about a jew when they are not.

You mean like the withdrawel from Afghanistan?

I think all of the Israelis in protesting this war should move to Palestine and enjoy being ruled by Hamas. Nothing can replace first hand experience.

Netanyahu may be dumber than Biden. I can't see our President killing tens of thousands of civilians to get at a few thousand terrorists, while letting the suppliers/funders of those terrorists continue to plan and orchestrate attacks. What a cold-hearted, low-IQ fool.

A solution to make everyone happy? no, I don't that that exists. But Israel ending the war once they have destroyed the remainder of the HAMAS fighters should be soon. They won't be able to deal with the leaders how hide safely away in Quatar, but they will have to recruit more kids to teach to kill anyone who isn't in their church group and it may take a few years.

But since the DERPs have to use history to justify killing all the joos, I doubt anything will change other than Israel will be back to defending against missile attacks from Hezbollah and the other Iranian proxy groups. But since they did bad things in the past, that is totally expected.

Bla bla bla bla bla

What makes his threats of resignation meaningful after his opinions have been clearly ignored for months?

You have been saying that Netanyahu has lost the confidence of the people since the war started ... when is that opinion going to start to bear fruit? On September 1st; 5 more months of indiscriminate bommings and maybe, just maybe Benny Gantz might resign?

Nothings changed Nothings new.
