Norman Finklestein used to say that Gaza is an open air concentration camp. He still says it and many agree with him.

It's true a large number of Jews have expressed criticisms against the Israeli Government and the said openly nor to conflate Zionism with being Jewish.

What you seem to be confusing is that one nation is under occupation by the other nation. It's unlikely they will stop fighting until their get their freedom and independence as well as a State of their own. Sooner or later this will happen.

Trying to apologise isn't a wise option. Israel has accepted that they killed at least 16,000 innocent civilians. Hence they have accepted mass killings of civilians and their associated war crimes and crimes against humanity. There is no way out of this for an ethnosupremacist and apartheid state.
